It seemed a foregone conclusion when Serena got #23 that she'd at least get to #24, if not the record outright. Now? She might still have one more run in her, but she looks more washed than great at this point.

So Nishikori is just lulling Zverev into a false sense of security, right?

For context if Nadal had retired at 26 he would have had 11 Grand Slams as well. (7 FO, 2 Wimbledon, 1 US Open, 1 AO).
I wonder if the pressure got to Serena? Her 23 Grand Slams are way more impressive than Courts 24 when no one played the AO.

Big moment just now - Novak was up love-30 in a Museti service game and the young kid pulls out some sparkling tennis to hold.
Edit: Musetti then breaks the very next game.
Edit 2: Djoker breaks back at love to get back on serve.

Every time they show the Djokovic camp in the stands, it reminds me of this:

Novak will have to come from two sets down to advance at this year's French Open as Musetti takes set 2 in a dominate tie-break for the Italian.

Somewhere Federer is saying " Why couldn't you play like that in a tiebreaker against me!"

Well, that was a quick third set as Djoker takes it 6-1.

Ruh Roh, Musetti has lost the plot and is broken at love to start the 4th set.

Djoker has won the last 15 points and races out to a 3-zip lead in set 4.

This 6-7, 6-7, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 is going to be one of the funniest scorelines in history.

Now Novak is winning points where he's falling down midway through the point.
Edit: Sliced open his finger a little on that fall, however.

I am definitely very disappointed Musetti won that game in the third. Imagine saying you went five sets and still got triple bageled, legendary right there.

Lol imagine how many fans Musetti was going to make when he was up 2-0 and how many he probably lost quitting like that rather than finishing it out. Embarrassing.

He reminds me of Shapo, the talent is obvious, but his motor runs hot like Denis and you can see it got the better of him today.

My goodness, it's blowout day in women's singles at the French Open. Serves them right for treating Naomi the way they did.
