Yeah well our middle of the order hitters are such streak hitters. Tons of power but low OBP and can go really hot or cold. Grichuk, Gurriel, Bo, Vlad, etc are all like that. Which is why Panik and Shaw need to get on and Biggio, Fisher and Villar need to keep working those walks.

As for Vlad himself well I’m disappointed he has developed how he is but right now he is a one tool player (just power) and I don’t see any sign that will change. I hope it does but don’t see it.

Well I wouldn’t put too much stock into series in Boston. Does weird things to pitchers since it behaves so much differently than other parks. Anyway we won the series and with a bit more luck could have swept it. On to the next series.
