I think LCFC have to be sweating a bit. They looked like a sure bet for CL, and I suspect they may wind up in 6th.

They really seem like their plan was to just hold on to what they had by their fingernails.

The other thing is that the teams that most benefited from the break are Chelsea, MU (both injuries) and Wolves (rest) and I think all will now pass LCFC. Well, Tottenham did too, but they suck.

United in particular benefited with time to heal injuries.

Interrupting your regular Sunday morning programming to inform you that Southampton have a player named Willy Smallbone. Carry on...

I can't wait for a year from now when he's a better player so Peter Drury can say "Immense growth from Smallbone".

On a less #### related note, Danny Ings is having the season of his life. Absolutely balling out this year.

Yeah, commentators were saying that it was a shame the Euros got cancelled because he stood a chance of playing for England.

Sane to Bayern is a done deal. €49m up front plus €11m in add-ons.

Timing is everything in life. Last summer before his injury and/or COVID City might have gotten more than double that fee. Hell of a deal for Bayern though.

Greenwood's a top talent. Yet another quality goal, deadly with both feet.

Pretty good deal for Bayern. Excited to see what Sane can do in the Bundesliga.
