Maas will join the Lions after the season either as head coach or offensive coordinator.

BC wont dump Claybrooks after his rookie season as HC. They were, I suspect, one of the most inexperienced coaching staffs the CFL has ever seen. Not sure if there is a connection between him and Maas to get him there as OC or not, but I expect BC to be much better next season. They started to get it together towards the end this season and have a lot of good pieces to work with moving forward.
Really cant blame Campbell for leaving Ottawa either...he was given SFA to work with this season and expected to craft a contender out of it. Horrible management by that team the last couple years. I too expect him to be HC up North depending how the Esks do in the playoffs, though i suspect the Als beat them on Sunday.
Oh and I wouldnt be surprised if Brent Monson gets a lot of attention from the Redblacks as they try and replace Campbell. The job he did with the defense here this year was nothing short of remarkable considering the attrition and injuries he had to deal with from day 1.

Funny thing is Maas was a failure in Edmonton but he may have his choice of head coaching jobs in Ottawa (was their OC) in BC. Lots of talk in an Athletic column that Hervey will like to reunite him and Reilly.

i am debating about buying tickets to sunday's game as i am a bomber fan - i have not been to enough games at macmahon to know - which side is better to sit on stamps side or bombers side in terms of dealing with the sunshine?

Early forecast shows that it's going to be cold but sunny. You probably want to sit on the east side to get as much sun as possible.

Ticket prices are still higher than I'd like. I guess since it's playoffs there isn't inventory to bring the price down like last game.

For those Bomber fans, the East side is where your team's bench is too.

This completely. I had this season written off as a rebuild season.
We had just won the cup, Bo was exploring his NFL options and we had lost a good chunk of all our quality starters on Defence.
All of this success this season was gravy

There's no reason that the Stampeders, at home, should lose to Winnipeg with the Bombers on their 3rd string, a battered and largely rusty AF Zach Collaros. But so what? They're my team, I love them with all my heart. They piss me off sometimes and make me crazy with anger.. but it's how I feel sports. Go Bombers!
I show -9 and snow? Weather Network?

Haven't seen point spreads yet but here is the current money line...my guess is the final line will be Calgary -5.5
2019 GREY CUP - ODDS TO WIN
Winner
Hamilton Tiger-Cats +210
Saskatchewan Roughriders +280
Calgary Stampeders +375
Winnipeg Blue Bombers +450
Montreal Alouettes +800
Edmonton Eskimos +900

Just an FYI:

If anyone wants a cheap ticket (or pair of tickets) just to get them in the stadium, or is taking their kid and doesn't mind sitting in the non-alcohol section, I might be able to help you out

Final Power Rankings (from CFL.ca)
1) Ti-Cats
2) Riders
3) Stamps
4) Bombers
5) Als
6) Esks
7) Argos
8) Lions
9) Redblacks
There’s no rest for the wicked, as the Stamps play on semi-final Sunday for the first time since 2015. This isn’t the same dominant team as years’ past, but counting out the reigning MOP in Bo Levi Mitchell would be a mistake. Mitchell leads arguably the CFL’s most dangerous passing attack.

My coaching predictions for the offseason;
BC: Jason Maas (if not as the coach then as the OC, no way I think Claybrooks safe though)
Edmonton: Rick Campbell
Winnipeg: Paul LaPolice (more on this below)
Ottawa: Noel Thorpe or Tommy Condell
Toronto: Mike# O'Shea (Hes without a contract after the season)

Claybrooks, imo, is more to blame with how terrible The lions have been all season
I think this firing more to do with trying to hire Campbell ASAP

Always tough to follow a legend like Wally Buono and I just think Claybrooks should have been given some more time. You're probably spot on about the Hervey - Campbell connection.

I would imagine Maas would be their top target seeing Hervey, Mass, Reilly can pick up where they left off in Edmonton. Campbell makes the most sense going back to Edmonton.

Claybrooks was awful and I believe firing him was the right move as I don't think that market could afford him getting another season to see if he can grow into a position he was not close to being ready for. He will turn up as a DC I'm sure as there should be a fair bit of coach shuffling this offseason.

It's not really advertised, but there are limited seats available in the heated temporary suites they built for Grey Cup. $100 includes food, heat, and R&W Club washroom access. Have to call the office directly though.
