Which is more redundant? Maradona's second watch or Ducay's re-post of a post he made 1:12 previously?

Story of the tournament for Spain, dominate possession, create virtually nothing threatening about it, allow much lesser opposition to stay in matches. I imagine we're in for another 80 minutes of 10 in the box for Russia as they try to force penalties.

Spain are super boring, and teams play such a defensive style against them that it just multiplies the boring effect.

Spain can be entertaining when a team actually plays a bit more open against them - like Portugal vs Spain on day 1.

I almost want Russia to score because I hate Spain's lame style of play.

Just wait for the dubious extra time penalty after Kuipers gets the subtle 'nod' from Uncle Vlad...

Its awful stuff. I know the purists love it because of possession and passing and all that, but did you see that one sequence where they're gushing over Spain's 'team-play' and they stitched like 20 passes together?

Half of those passes were in their own half between their fullbacks and the other half were barely inside the Russian half and went nowhere.

Its not 'awesome possession' the Russians were hardly even pressing them because they know that consumes energy so they just let Spain screw around with the ball in an area that poses no threat until they make a mistake and can be attacked on the counter.

For the spectators its brutal, brutal stuff to watch. They cant get out of the tournament soon enough.

Wenger could seamlessly take over management of this team
