the 1 man team stuff is going to come out, but it was about 85 minutes of garbage followed by that

only real hope for the Chelsea game is that spurs can't possibly play as bad again

now come on Harry, do us a favour one time

A United win tomorrow coupled with a Spurs one on Weds would sink Chelsea and possibly the Special One's return.

that is the dream scenario

Arsenal missing would be nice, but Chelsea having no real options as a manager would be preferable

with Jose they become a force again IMO

Southampton were unlucky not to get anything out of that one. Great strike by Bale tho.

With Wigan winning today the bottom third of the table just got a lot more interesting...

Does anybody really want Mourinho with an open chequebook back in the PL?

I like seeing Spurs fighting for the CL.

If Mou comes back Chelsea are going to pull a 'City' which is just copying City pulling a 'Chelsea' which is just what Chelsea did by pulling a 'United.'

I also hope Wigan stay up. For some strange reason I just like them.

he's doing it almost every week now that it's basically expected, in the last 5-6 years in the PL the only other 2 I can remember who made you feel like that were RVP and Ronaldo

they do need to follow FFP so it won't be a complete open cheque book

I think for next year it would end up being Schurlle + Falcao + a defender

which with Jose might be enough to mount a title bid

thinking about it more, what worries me the most is Chelsea missing CL, and Jose going to Man City. They have enough bench players they can sell that they could bring in a group like Fernandinho/Cavani or Falcao/Reus/Hummels etc. and not be anywhere near breaking FFP

even assuming Wigan lose at Arsenal

I can easily see them beating Swansea and Villa at home, putting them at 41

and if that happens, this entire list is in trouble

Stoke 40
Fulham 40
Aston Villa 40
Southampton 39
Norwich 38
Newcastle 38
Sunderland 37

Yeah, hoping for a Wigan win on Tuesday night to kickstart a dogfight.

Anyways, Lindegaard getting the start to get him up to his 10 games.

Terrible performance, crap lineout. Arsenal and Spurs will be understandably pissed.

Red card made zero diiference and was probably justified but sickening to see players lying on the ground laughing whilst faking injury

game had the tempo of a pre-season friendly, United are all ready on the beach

Chelsea just look tired, hopefully that catches up with them

Spurs/Chelsea still have fates in their own hands, Arsenal dependent on other results, that only factors in if Spurs win wednesday

I think goal difference is going to kill Spurs.

Losing to Fulham and drawing ####ing Wigan is going to kill Spurs. They were lucky to get 3 yesterday. They should be comfortably in third. If they finish out of the top 4, they have no one to blame but themselves.

That was stupid from Rafael, but Luiz is an #######, really. Pretty pathetic how he rolled around while having a good laugh at it. Oh well.

United already are in vacation mood, there's no urgency at all. I hope SAF brings Powell, Amos, Tunnicliffe, Lingard, Vermjil etc for the remainding games.
