Unless Deshaun is willing to rework his contract to make most of the remainder non-guaranteed, why would anyone take that boat anchor? And of course why would Deshaun change his contract unless he gets more guaranteed then he will be owed? They are stuck with each other.

Good, it killed me seeing McNair and Mason in Baltimore, seeing Henry there would be like watching Kipper play for the Oilers

Southern team who's absolutely in need of a QB and not really bad enough to be in position to draft one high this year.

Deshaun has played below replacement level. Atlanta obviously needs an upgrade, but even in today's QB desperate world they won't be interested without the Browns either retaining a ton of salary, or adding picks to dump him, and it seems pretty hard to believe the Browns would give up futures or cap to dump him.

Why have we been subjected to so many Raiders primetime games this year? They were bad last year and everyone knew they were going to be trash this year.

Feels like a big game for the Lions in getting over the "Lions" hump. This should be a 31-7 game, instead it's a two point game. Would be a devastating win for the Raiders who are clearly terrible and cannot afford to hurt the draft position.

I think the Raiders would be better off tanking next year. Don't need McDaniels to make some dumb ass reach in the draft or ruin a legitimately good prospect.

I mean they should be in a long term rebuild, but they keep kicking the can. They should actively be shopping Davante and Renfrow, Jacobs too if anyone has any desire.

This rookie rb Gibbs is lighting it up. Just scored and jumped right into the crowd.

I know O'Connell was bad in his first start, but you might as well run with him for the rest of the season. He's not going to lose you anymore games than Jimmy is.

Have the Raiders tried to block?

Jimmy is holding the ball way too long, but everything about this offense is bad because McDaniels has no idea what he's doing.

Remember when Josh said he could make any QB an all-pro?

To be fair Jimmy did get used to throwing for under 100 yards and winning, often comfortably. His contract also doesn't give them a ton of outs, smart thing would be to cut him at the end of the year and eat the dead cap, but it's the Raiders so it'll probably be Jimmy and Josh next year again.

I'm glad I didn't bet Lions spread here, if the Raiders backdoor cover this I'd lose my mind. Lions should be up 30 and yet...

The Detroit kicker likely just ruined my water tonight of a Detroit win and scoring 28+ points. C'mon Man!

It's like the Lions are begging the Raidrrs to cover the 7 point spread in this one.
