There is no iPad that is scheduled to be released in the fall. That's all rumor.

Does anyone know if or when Apple will be increasing the number of international keyboards it supports on the iPad? I can't justify getting the iPad to my wife unless it comes with language support similar to her iPhone.

Which language are you asking about?

Oops, I left that out by mistake. I need Korean language support like they have on my wife's iPhone. At first glance, the iPad only seems to have like 10-15 different langauges and Korean wasn't one of them. Was hoping that this would be resolved soon with a firmware update.

Seems weird that Korean wouldn't be included - seems like a popular enough language

Has the iPad been released in Korea? They'll probably add the language when they begin selling it there.

Star Walk is a real cool App for my iPad. You can Aim your ipad up to the sky and move around. Stars and planets are named right on the screen (uses your compass and location).

It is basically an interactive Astronomy App.

Sweet! I just won an iPad through a children's hospital raffle at work! Looks like I'll have to read through this thread.

iPad sets record for fastest adoption rate:
Quote:
Apple’s iPad sold three million units in the first 80 days after its April release and its current sales rate is about 4.5 million units per quarter, according to Bernstein Research. This sales rate is blowing past the one million units the iPhone sold in its first quarter and the 350,000 units sold in the first year by the DVD player, the most quickly adopted non-phone electronic product.
...and is on pace to become the 4th largest consumer electronics category, behind only TVs, smartphones and laptops.
Quote:
At this current rate, the iPad will pass gaming hardware and the cellular phone to become the 4th biggest consumer electronics category with estimated sales of more than $9 billion in the U.S. next year, according to Bernstein. TVs, smart phones and notebook PCs are the current three largest categories.

Does this mean current sales or devices having been sold? because the day there are more ipads than all gaming systems, Ren will eat his own pubes.

I doubt some of this article's information... an example that hopefully won't cause a pissing contest:

Didn't the Wii sell over 600,000 consoles within the first 8 days of its launch?

Except that the wii is a video game system, something that's been around since the early 80's. A better comparison would have been to the original NES. I believe the article is talking about new products that exist in a category of their own.
