The Colts of all team weren't going to take any chance's last night after the number of key injurys they've had this year. I do feel bad for the Browns fans, who are among the most loyal and die hard in the NFL.
I'm getting sick of these reports on Marvin Harrison. The week before the Patriots, Dungy talked about how Marvin would've played had it been a playoff game. That was 10 weeks ago

If Manning went down then what?
The Browns had a great year, but the Titans play in the toughest division on the planet, so the football gods did the right thing arranging for them to play against Sorgi in week 17.

Its the EXACT same friggin thing and entirely RIGHT.
The Patriots nor the Giants had anything to gain by winning or losin beyond theundefeated regular season stuff.
I would love to hear your explanation on what these "obvious reasons" are.
I mean if Eli Manning or Brady go down...then what?

That will be what they stack up on. Wegman is getting old and slow. Welbourne is done. Svtek isn't bad at right tackle. Waters is awsome but he obviously can't do it himself. McIntosh is nothing speacil and hurt half the time. Lets get some young studs in there. Having a high draft pick should land a franchise OL. Lets just hope he pans out better than Trezelle Jenkins or any other draft bust Peterson has picked over the years. Siavii, Ryan Sims, Julian Battle, Snoop Minnis, ect, ect..................................

Javon Walker wants out of Denver.
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_7850208
The Eagles could use him, but seeing him whine his way out of two organizations makes me leeery

I REALLY liked Javon Walker as a receiver and was excited about the prospect of him being healthy and having that 3 receiver threat with the two Brandons. He can get bent.
That said, maybe having Darrent Williams die in his arms soured him on the whole affair. Could be.
But I'm going with the former. Marshall is just flat out better. Period.

I've always liked Marshall. I was pissed when the Eagles took him over Avant in the 4th round that year.

I am not sure how me commenting on the Colts resting Manning for one game means that I am not only some how a Colts fan bt also have them as a shoe-in for the SB but I guess people will read what they want not what is written. For what its worth I have been Lions fan since the early 90's, never have been a colts fan.
The second string comment was in regards to the fact that with the inept Titans offense it didn't matter who was in the game for the Colts because there always was a chance they could win.
If Cleveland wants to make the play-offs they should beat teams like the Bengals that quit on the season around week four not whine about other teams not playing hard enough for them to sneak in.

Is it sad that I am scouring the defensive prospects for the upcoming draft already? Such a disappointing season with expectations so high. The villain being the defence which was completely and utterly awful, as they made the various backups and mutts like McCown, Carr, Redman, Leftwich look like hall of famers.
p.s. I think I want Ellis, Laurinitis or Phillips.

Has anyone published a draft order yet? I could figure it out on my own of course, but there are people out there who get paid to do these things!

This is a poor argument. TEN only had to play 15 real football games. CLE had to play 16. Completely unfair. Dungy made no effort to win the game. He would not call time outs at the end of the game when IND still had a chance. LAME.

No it's a valid argument. The Browns had a chance to clinch the spot and threw the game away. The Colts owe the Browns nothing. The Colts are in it to win in the long run, not to help the Browns make the playoffs.

The Browns got to play the Bengals who had given up on their season in about week 4. Its not the Colts fault that the Browns lost their "free" game.
The Colts lost by 6 points they sure could of done a much better job of not trying to win than to come within 6 points of the Titans.

Yeah the Browns had control of their destiny and gave it up in week 15. When you lose control of your own fate, you leave it to chance and no one owes you anything. To cry about the Colts, is just like a Leaf fan crying about New Jersey playing their backup in game 82 against the Islanders last year....Think about that Troutman....you're as bad as a Leafs fan!!!!

No first rounder this year for Indy, which kind've makes me a little less excited for the draft. Although the trade to draft Ugoh last year is looking like a steal.

Watched the entire Javon Walker 'locker interview' today. That guy has issues. Made it clear that the Broncos have given no indication that they don't want him. Made it clear that he hasn't lost anything physically. Basically, his comments support my theory that he doesn't want to play second fiddle to Marshall on the outside. I'll give Shanahan a chance to talk to him and get him to buy into the Broncos again before I totally dismiss the possibility that he's a Bronco next year, but it looks like he's trying to facilitate a trade without saying so. Disappointing.
Matt Lepsis retired today as well. It will be interesting to see what the OL looks like next season. Nalen is supposed to be back at C after recovering from the biceps tear, but I haven't heard if Ben Hamilton's concussion issues are career threatening or not. The two young Chris' from the 06 draft got valuable playing time this year, but weren't always up to par. Some big holes for Shanahan to fill.

I appolagize for misunderstanding your post. But it sounded like a cocky Colts fan saying that it didn't matter who the Colts played. They were going to win anyway, type of attitude.
Lions fan huh? I feel your pain. (well not really, if the Chiefs keep the current pace for 50 more years, then I will really know your pain.) When will the Bobby Lane curse end?

The Browns never had a "free" game. The Bengals were at home, and are bitter rivals. TEN had a freebie. No comparison.

If it was such a freebie, why did their starting QB end up hurt and them having to rely on their kicker to boom a long field goal? Also if Wayne doesn't fumble on that first drive Indy probably goes in for a TD.
