Can I use water softener salt on my icy sidewalk?
That stuff is about $5 a bag versus $20 a bag for specifically labeled ice melting salt.

Also being proactive with others, and then getting my hands slapped. A lot of the time I feel helpless and like my hands are tied. I get one manager telling me one thing, and then my direct manager telling me another. Kind of a "damn if you do, damn if you don't" situation.
I am very anxious about what is going to be said in the review. I have decided to go in with an open mind.
So I guess my question is this: I they decide to let me go, do they have to give me written reason on the spot? What is the protocol? I've never been fired...so this is new to me. Of course this is a worst case possibility, and I'm hoping this doesn't happen.

Picked up an SSD and it's amazing. Problem is now when my computer is loading i the BIOS part.. it has a blinking " _ "
Once it goes my boot devices its super fast. The only thing I did differently is I removed my HDD ribbon right out of my motherboard. Can anyone suggest why this is happening and how to get my computer to load up faster without that linking underscore??

Will any wall mount work with any LCD TV?
If not, how do I tell what kind of mount I will need either before purchase or once I get it home and out of the box?

In my experience the wall mounts are pretty universal. The reason for the size ranges on a mount have some to do with weight; but also a lot to do with the number and spacing of the holes in the back. So as long as you are not trying to put a 40" TV up with a mount that is listed for 27-39" TVs- you should be OK.
If you already have the TV, the manual should say what kind of mount it uses. It will list hole spacing in something like 100 mm or 250 mm.

Is it legal for secondhand stores to charge GST?
Wouldn't have the item already earned GST originally for the feds when it was first sold?
I'm talking about stores like Recordland in Inglewood.

Don't see why not. Forget the limits, but if you are a small business below a certain size, you do not have to charge GST on your sales, but after that point you need to charge GST. Most will want to register anyways as then they can offset claim the GST they have paid on their inputs (inventory, utilities etc.) and remit less of the GST they have collected from customers back to the government.

^ also think of used car dealers. they all charge GST, but all of those cars have already had tax paid on them before

I certainly don't know if it's the best, but Home Outfitters has a huge wall of K-cups to choose from. You could get it cheaper at Costco across the parking lot, but the selection at Costco isn't nearly as extensive.

The Coffee Connection (1047 26 Street NE) has a good selection and you can mix and match and try a bunch of different kinds. Price works out to about 0.70 I believe. Staples.ca has a bunch of different kinds, and the cost also works out to 0.70 a cup, although they do occasionally go on sale.
My wife just bought a box of 80 plain old Colombian ones at Costco for $40, but as already mentioned, they don't have a wide selection.
Interestingly, my Mum just bought some President's Choice brand things for her Keurig that worked out to about 0.50 each. They are a different design, but work just fine in the Keurig (they were designed for it). They have a plastic ring and a top that can be punctured just like the "real" K-Cups, but below that is kind of a mesh bag/filter part and no outside plastic cup portion. It actually tasted pretty good.

There's also this thing that you can put freshly ground beans into. Not sure if it comes with all Keurigs, but my mom's came with one.

Looking at renting a couple Big Buck Hunter arcade games. I've looked around and all I seem to be able to find are people trying to sell them. Can someone rent? Where would they go?
