Finished season 2 of Warrior, damn it's an awesome show. Episode 9 is one of the best hours of any TV show I've ever watched, and it is a great homage to Bruce Lee. If you have any interest in kung fu shows, period dramas, or Chinese gang wars then you need to check it out

I said it before as the showrunners of Warrior are among my favourites because I loved 'Banshee.'
Season 1 took some time to find its feet....Season 2 of Warrior knocked it out of the park. Just fantastic.

Also, yeah Mare of Easttown has been fantastic. Also, Jean Smart has been having some kind of renaissance. In Mare, Hacks, Watchmen.

She was amazing in Watchmen and I’m thoroughly enjoying Hacks.

Anyone else watch Marvelous Mrs. Maisel? It is quite good. Although I don't really find her stand up in the show to be all that hysterical, the characters are fantastic. Tony Shalhoub as Abe Weissman is a scene stealer.
The one thing I love about the show is how it diverts to a different setting for several episodes each season. They do a great job recreating the time and place. The episodes in the Catskills were awesome.
As an aside, where's the right place to talk about shows that are on a streaming platform? This thread, or the appropriate platform thread, like Amazon? I like one thread devoted to TV shows personally.

If the show is good enough and has a big enough following they usually get their own thread. The rest typically land in their streaming platform thread. Just wrap potential spoilers in the spoilers tag.

So there are Disney, Amazon, Netflix and HBO/Crave threads. This is like the network TV thread?

I think this is just a catch-all for any TV shows but the specific conversations about the streaming service shows tends to happen in those threads. I don't think there's an HBO/Crave thread.

I seem to remember Dave Foley couldn’t come back to Canada because of some drama with his ex. I guess he got that resolved.

I thought it was taxes. Just rumours either way.
Hopefully they're able to capture the charm of the original.
