This was taken from the Ferry en route to Bainbridge Island, which is about a 40 minute ride from Seattle. It was rainy and gloomy, so the B&W is quite fitting.

So... I took this photo
But I feel like the skyline just isn't dramtic enough for the rest of the photo (and is underexposed). Do the rest of you feel like this is a good crop? If not, where would you crop it?

The skyline is irrelevant, imo. The action is the lightning and fireworks. There's too much dead black space as well.
The crop makes it 100x better.
Unless you cropped it very horizontal into a sort of pano.

The part I'm not sure about is mostly the bottom incandescent-lit foreground. It's a bit distracting, but I feel like the infield bleachers almost doesn't make sense without it (too dark), and there might not be enough negative space either.
