I've learn to live with the fact Jameis takes tons of risks and that means turnovers, but when he's feeling it some of the throws are pretty amazing.

Why does it seem that the Cowboys win in spite of the their awful play calling OC. It's a win though and a needed one as the Giants won as well.

Bucs didn't make any adjustments to help with the pressure in the 4th quarter. That miss to Evans though hurt, that's at least a 50 yard play inside the Dallas 40. Bucs are better than they've been probably since Raheem was coach, but still have some work to do to be a playoff team.

New England. Best df in league right now, tied for best record, win #5 in a row against tough competition, 7-0 on the road, 9-1 in conference, a record eighth consecutive division title...and Brady on a mission.

Monster win for Tennessee as they now control their own destiny and have Texans at home in last game.

Texans pulling Brock was a long time coming. That team is a Super Bowl contender with high quality quarterback play. With about the worst starting QB in the league they are a bubble playoff team. What a chance for Savage now, but he has had a hard time staying healthy.

As disappointed as I am in the Chiefs yesterday, I do hope the Titans make the playoffs. They do play a bit of that throwback smash mouth football. I would much rather watch a Titans game than a Texans game.

I don't know, I'd rather have the Colts in the playoffs than either the Texans or Titans because Andrew Luck is Andrew Luck and Mariota and Tom Savage scare no one. Either way that division is a disgrace.

That offensive line. Maybe the best ever. So many runs where Elliot isn't even touched until he's at the 2nd level. Some of those holes they highlighted you could have driven a car through. Not taking anything away from Elliot but a washed up Darren McFadden ran for 1k yards behind that line. When you can make those easy gains on the ground it makes it really hard for teams to go after the QB and take away the pass.

Their strength of schedule is .436 compared to the Raiders for example who have played a .508 schedule. Not taking anything away from the Pats but they have played in a division of mediocre to bad teams for well over a decade. I'm not saying the Raiders are better because they are not but it's easier to be good when you never have legit threats in your division.

If only QB position was one of the top problems with this team. It's just not. Not saying Siemian is the guy, but until they fix the O-Line, replace TJ Ward and get something resembling a high school level return team this team will continue to go as far as their defense takes them.

So did Indianapolis from 2002-2013. So does Green Bay from 2007-present. So does Denver 2008-2015. Since realignment, the only truly consistently competitive divisions in the NFL, divisions where year in and out there is turnover, are the NFC South, NFC East and AFC North. The NFC West had a half sec where it was interesting but then Harbaugh peaced out. Otherwise NE has owned the AFCE, Denver has owned the AFCW, Indy has owned the AFCS, Green Bay has owned the NFCN and Seattle has owned the NFCW. Well run teams in divisions with inept run teams. No shocker they've cruised for the most part. NFL parity is kind of overhyped when you really break it down. It's just "parity" happens when you have single elimination playoffs. Imagine if the NFL had best of 3 series. New England might be working on 12 straight Super Bowls.

Brady's record vs. all teams prior to this season:

http://offthemonstersports.com/2016/...f-spectacular/

Vs. the AFC East: 66-20 (.767)
Vs. the AFC North: 25-7 (.781)
Vs. the AFC South: 33-6 (.846)
Vs. the AFC West: 22-14 (.611)
Vs. the NFC East: 14-5 (.737)
Vs. the NFC North: 14-3 (.824)
Vs. the NFC South: 13-3 (.813)
Vs. the NFC West: 7-4 (.636)

.767 vs AFC East, .753 vs the rest of the NFL.

Reminiscent of the last Cowboys championship run isn't it?

Well except the part where the Cowboys win a championship. I don't think they will beat the Seahawks if they face in the playoffs and I certainly don't think they will beat the Patriots if they meet. I give props to any team for winning the games on their schedule but who have they really played this season? The best team they have faced is the Giants and they lost both times.

I think Mariota is actually a pretty good QB. The Titans maybe don't have the outside weapons that can run in a track meet. But they do have a pretty decent offensive line, and a much improved defence.

Indy might be more entertaining in a playoff game today. But at least the Titans look like they have a QB and are starting to put the pieces around the QB. Something the Colts have completely forgot about.

Has any division in football over that span (since the Patriots were good) put less teams in the playoffs than the AFC East? Buffalo has made the playoffs zero times, Jets had a couple of seasons with Rex Ryan, and Miami has been in the playoffs once since 2002. Probably not going to find a worse division over the last decade+. Also my post was more a response to the poster who said they won 5 in a row against tough competition to which I showed they have had an easy schedule this season.
