Announcers said he was in a lot of pain going off.
Funny the final comments in the video:
"Looks like Chad Johnson's going to get his first action of the season."
"Looks like Chad Johnson's going to get his first action ever!"
hahaha

Ugh, I was gonna go all "Go trade Ramo for Joel Armia" and then sadly realized that Armia is in Winnipeg.

Honestly, Buffalo has looked pretty good. Throw Hiller in their net and suddenly they look a lot better too

At this stage of the game the Flames probably can't be to picky on a return for Ramo or Hiller. The more i think about it Flames would be lucky to get a B prospect. I could see a useless cap dump coming back instead.

Acquiring another goalie might be a good way for the Sabre's management to show the team that they want to be competitive. If they spend assets on getting an older goaltender, they probably wouldn't want to tank later on.

Robin Lehner was leaving the rink on crutches and wearing an air cast boot. Believed to be a right ankle sprain

Someone like a Jake McCabe would be nice.

Bylsma said Robin Lehner's injury isn't short-term. #Sabres
This could be a wonderful opportunity for the Flames.

Scrivens could be a cheap solution for Buffalo with him starting in the AHL

I would imagine BUF to be looking at Scrivens or Tokarski first rather then Hiller/Ramo.

Pegula is the million dollar man of owners. Money is no object. As long as we aren't too greedy treliving might have an opening.
Mid round pick or b prospect. Just to clear up the net situation. Removing that distraction far outweighs assets coming back.

Buffalo is under a lot of pressure not to be as outright terrible as they were last year after landing Eichle and upgrading with Kane and RoR.
Could see them choosing a more stable option in goal over waiver wire material.

if they are satisfied with an AHL goalie, they will likely just go with one of their own

Scrivens or Tokarski? I was under the impression Buffalo was actually trying to win games this year...
At this point, Hiller/Ramo for a 7th would be fine. Just resolve the situation before it becomes a side show.

Just my own speculation but something like Hiller to Buffalo for Nathan Lieuwen + 3rd round pick in 2016.
Lieuwen isn't Buffalo's top goalie prospect and they have three 3 rd round picks this year. Nathan is currently playing in minors and would be assigned to Stockton.
If you post this Eklund I want credit
