Sometime I feel like law abiding citizens should be issued a "one free punch per year" pass just to keep a lid on the asshattery around here.
Non-transferrable and they don't roll over of course.

Can law abiding cyclists get "one free side mirror smashed off courtesy of a u-lock" per week? Even that wouldn't be enough to keep up.
Oh wait, there are no law abiding cyclists. All vehicle side mirrors are safe!

At one a week I think you probably lose your law abiding citizen card.

I was watching a movie today and they had an extended fight scene and I suddenly realized how boring they are. Unless it's something with someone really talented or something, just get on with it already.

Which movie? Some of my favourites have long fight scenes: Old Boy, They Live, Kill Bill (both but especially Part II), John Wick.

Jackie Chan’s early Hong Kong films before he went to Hollywood were great. I found his later stuff to be very generic and almost a chore to get through. They relied too much on camera trickery rather than Chan’s talents.

Really? I always loved how Jackie Chan could turn anything into a weapon.
Heres a chair! A lamp! I shall fight you with this mop! Boxes? I love boxes! Chopsticks? No problem! Just...whatever is around is now weaponized.
Oh man...that guy is awesome. Yeah he did some schlock...but he sells it!

Same with car chases, fights and car chases are my least favorite part of any movie.

Abigail.
When they're done right they can be very effective, but otherwise they're just filler.

I didn't really understand why Fast and Furious had made it to 10 movies so I binged them all over a long weekend.
I can't say I disagree with you. They were just... boring...

I was once accused of pilfering an Amtrak snack shack over a cookie!
I paid for that cookie! I didn't think we needed a receipt to prove it!
I paid for that damned cookie twice. It wasn't even that good.
I'll never forgive you Amtrak. Never.

I'm surprised you sat through 10 of them.

Staff GMG. Like, either suck so I can be forced to improve you, or be good so I can trust you. But thinking you know what’s up and getting a lot of latitude and time to ‘do your thing’ to be unable to actually provide what was asked for? #### man, sometimes I just don’t get it.
