Varsho is an embarrassment hitting behind the big 3 this year .

I would move Merrifield to lead off and Springer to 5 for a while

Yeah that was a centre cut meatball to Varsho and he popped it out to shallow left. I hope he figures it out soon because he kind of sucks right now lol.

It was always bound to be the case. Jays management hoped the shift banning would make a difference but just as equally, he's facing the best pitching in the league in the AL East (more or less). He's gotta figure it out, but it's a confidence thing so I hope he gets his chances while the Jays continue to win.

Nice job Pearson. That last pitch scared me, but he got it done.

Happy for Pearson. The guy needs a break in his career. Putting up two innings is a good thing for him.

Baltimore and Boston starters are horrendous and he came for the NL West which had the Dodgers,SD and SF (park) which are all great at pitching

Verdugo is another player who is lethal against the Jays.

There's something about Verdugo I really dislike. Face is punchable when it comes to his grandstanding.

Well at least Jordan didn't wear himself out. Yeesh.

That's two games the Jays have led early and lost in a row. Brutal. Would have been huge to pull that one out. Now need to win back to back.
