Thank you for turning it on, it was inevitable though.
My word, Locke that wasn't soft, seriously. Dier got completely turned and owned, and took a last grasp.
In other news;
Rashford's touch hasn't been great. I'd like to see Greenwood start over James.
Lloris has been fantastic, and the better keeper. Argument, that de Gea should've saved that first hard drive.
Yes....and the Dive?

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

I thought de Gea should have had that goal, but he did make a great save on the header by Son. Tough to say which keeper was better. Lloris wasn’t getting anywhere near that penalty.
And a midfield of Fernandes and Pogba looks good. They both had their dives and managed to get the equalizer out of it, so I guess that worked also. There’s no way that should be a penalty on Dier for me. Yeah he got beat and turned, but it’s a pretty routine battle for the ball and Pogba just dives. Nowhere near the Fernandes dive, but a dive nonetheless.

Thought he should have had it? It went right through him. Becoming all too common for DDG.
I'd be worried about losing Kane if Mourinho is going to hang around.

Lloris diving parry off of Martial, was better than de Gea's on Son.
de Gea's hands aren't square to the ball on that shot. He had one in a fist, like he was going to punch. Poor goalkeeping.
Every pundit agreed it's a penalty. Even that LFC alumni, league trophy winning Michael Owen, agreed with it.

Meh, pundits screw all kinds of things up though. They all seemed to think United would win in a walk before the game and that wasn’t the case. That kind of contact is routine though. It happens all over the place and doesn’t get called, so to have it called in the box for a tying goal is just irritating. And yeah, VAR looks, but they have no basis to overturn it because “there’s contact”. I’m not even picking on Pogba here, because you could substitute him for anyone else; but the man is a professional athlete! Surely he can keep his balance? This is exactly why diving will remain part of the game though, it works. If he doesn’t drop there, they likely don’t score and he doesn’t get the penalty. He basically has to go down there and hope there’s enough in it to draw the whistle.
And I do worry about Kane. I feel like he’s not in great shape at this point, but he also might be disappointed at the Mourinho style of play as well, and that’s probably not helpful. I feel like from about 60 minutes on he was bagged and didn’t do much (although he did drive the free kick into the wall).
It's like he saved up every thing that angered him over the last 3 months and let it go
Roy, you're not saving Son's effort. But man, is he ever savage.
And DDG's last goal against, ALSO cost the club 2 points vs Everton, with that blocked clearance.
I don't know if I have him in the top 5 anymore.
Oblak
Alisson
Neuer
Ter Stegen
Handanovic
He's in the next tier, with Lloris, Courtois, Ederson, Henderson, Navas, Donnaruma
Love Keane. Not a MU fan but the emotional reaction is entertaining and if the players are too thin skinned for it they should be in a different line of work. The whole media and mgmt. culture right now is about sucking up to the players and their agents and never offending anyone it's ridiculous. I think he would have been a really good manager in another era, he tried to be like Fergie and yell and rant and the modern players wouldn't have it.
Kinda crazy for Arsenal to have to play twice in three days off the hop. I know they have a game to make up but could they not have put their second game on Sunday or Monday?
Also I just saw that story about the Russian league... in part it is an only in Russia story but underlines the challenge to sporting integrity of playing during a pandemic. Whole team is quarantined, opposition refuses to postpone, youth team has to play, 10-1 result. You'd like to think in less ridiculous countries the FA would step in but still.

They have to be close to just going with Henderson if someone would pay up for DDG
I'd add Onana to the 2nd tier as well, hes next big keeper to move

Yup, but Ajax just like United, has the same problem.. who needs a keeper?
Although, replacing Courtois with DDG, wouldn’t surprise me of RM, as it was a lateral move from Navas (at best).
I think Romero is sold after this season commences, and they run with both Henderson and DDG next season. Selling the worst of the two, the following season.
De Gea's wages make him pretty hard to move though. Not many teams can afford £350,000 a week for a keeper, and even those that can afford it pretty much all have keepers right now.

can't sell Henderson under any circumstances. I thought the best course of action would be to loan him out to Sheffield for one more year and then make him Uniteds #1 in 21-22, but if De Gea can't get his #### together, I'm not sure if there's any benefit in that. Might need to fasttrack Hendersons United career in that case.
