I'm sooooo glad Boomer, Warrener, and Pinder are back together! The show died when those other plugs came on (sorry guys ) they have chemistry and a good mix of personality. Pinder is such a know it all and those guys will get on him for it lol but i love him because he'll say anything to anyone if he disagrees. Like this morning with Lou, usually people are scared to argue with him because he thinks he more right the louder he gets. I appreciate them so much because they actually have opinions and will express them. If all we had was the afternoon crew I wouldn't bother listening unless major news

I used to dislike Steinberg but he has been much better in the last couple years in terms of his opinions. Recently he kept referencing the times when he broke into sports broadcasting when Rob Kerr told him this / taught him that. I think Rob's characters have certain influence on Pat.

I disliked Wills since day 1 he became the play by play. His voice is never genuine when the team scores, fabricated excitement. There are many other announcers who are way better in and around the league.

With Wills and Lou beating around the bush in recent weeks on the team's performance, I am not on the fence anymore.

I think Loubo has a friendship with Geoff Ward. He is too close to see what, let's say 90% of Flames fans can see.

I think he’s referring to people calling him out for not talking negatively about the team.

If a political party ever needs a ringer for filibusters, Loubo would be the best person for the job.

Going on about how his wife is in the line of fire for being on social media and how he might be in the line of fire etc. I assume he is trying to get to a point about not worrying what people say about him and he'll have his own opinion? He cannot even broach being critical of anyone specific ever.

It makes him a very very poor analyst.

He is pretty good as a color guy in real time after whistles/goals etc.

But when your purpose is to analyze what you are seeing happen on the ice but refuse to pinpoint player or players in a particular circumstance, you have lost your ability to do the job.

I have never ever heard anyone obfuscate the topic at hand by asking questions and the answering them himself. Often without ever actually giving an answer. It's truly unprofessional and completely dishonest on top of being both annoying and time wasting. I quit listening long ago but will catch a couple minutes here and there in my vehicle by chance.....and its still Lous schtick.

Loubo is not an insider. He's a colour commentator, there is a difference.

Niether are.....depending on ones definition of an insider i guess.

Friedman, Dreger, CJ...those guys are what i consider "insiders". Guys who have their ears to the ground across the league and have relationships with management, players, agents everywhere.

Loubo is a really good color guy, but not a good analyst.

Hrudey is a terrible color guy, but a great analyst....same with Cassie.

Bieksa may be the best analyst Rogers has had...period.

They all get jumbled together because they share similar mediums, but certainly they all have areas they are stronger in than others.

Wouldn't an insider be Friedman, CJ, LeBrun? When was the last time Loubo broke a story or a trade or a rumour. I don't think that is his job. Wills isn't an insider either.
