18 in a row retired by Price and Hawkins to end the game.
Yeah, that'll do.

MLBN also throwing a lot of love at the Jays for at least 5 minutes now.
Included: "they are clearly playoff favorites now."
"Clearly?"
Clearly"

The craziest part of that proclamation is that he included playoff games he's pitched in. Imo, MLB has the biggest jump in atmosphere from regular season to playoffs.
That was an insane atmosphere today, like off the charts.

Check out the AL Wild Card race. Both the Angels and Twins are in free fall. It currently looks like a four-team race for two spots. And of LA, Minnesota, Baltimore and us, it's hard not to feel confident right now.

Wow, I thought maybe it was just an onfield reaction with the fans still cheering that led him to say it was the best atmosphere, but in his post game spot he carefully mentioned each playoff game he's been in and what the atmosphere was like and then confidently stated that this game takes the cake over all those.
.....a regular season game in early August.

Wow, the Angels and Twins plummeting has really opened up that Wild Card race for a lot of teams.

I'm sure his agent and/or family slapped him upside the head, but still, good for him to apologize.

Yeah Price is something the Jays have never had. A hard throwing lefty, Jimmy Key is the only other star calibre Southpaw that I can remember in their rotation. Buehrle and Wells at times were quite good. But Price is something far better.

they mentioned today too that by holding him for today instead of sunday if the rotation stays in line he starts 4 of the 13 left against the Yanks

I want JD to be with me. Love that man.
I'm trying not to get too excited because I hate a let-down, but it's really hard right now.

It's the Blue Jays. When have they ever passed on a chance to disappoint? I think this time it will be particularly heart-breaking.
