Dolphins on the cusp of Playoffs with big win over Jets tonight

Need one more W vs. Buffalo to seal a spot.

I think they also need some help. Denver can still get to 11 wins if they win out. Oakland and KC only need to go 1-3 to win 11 games.

Dolphins certainly have turned it around from that 1-4 start. If they can get to 10-6 that should get them in.

Even with New England's struggles in Denver I think Denver is going to be hard pressed to win out. A Kubiak 8-8 season seems most likely.

Just looking at the standings, how the hell are the Eagles 5-8?? Weren't they like 5-1 at one point? I knew they had fallen off, I didn't realize it was quite that bad though. What the heck happened??

They started out 3-0 but are 2-8 in their last 10. They lost a bunch of receivers and running backs to injury and their defence got chip kelly'd as a result.

The Falcons have to be wondering how on Earth they lost to the Eagles....that loss could cost them a first week bye.

Falcons are like the Oilers. They always start hot and build up all this hype the first half of the year, then disintegrate the second half. Done that the past few seasons now, it's kind of their thing. Luckily they're in the South and thus should still make the playoffs, but is anyone actually expecting them to do anything once there?

For the sake of chaos, Denver winning today opens up so many possibilities. New England can still lose the division and miss the playoffs altogether, though still unlikely with the corpse that is the Jets still left on the schedule. But it also opens up Kansas City or Oakland getting the #1 seed and an 11-5 team missing the playoffs while a .500 AFC South team wastes everyone's time. Dolphins in theory can still get the #1 seed though that would take a stunning chain of events.

Luckily for the Texans Brock has shown he can handle being benched without holding a grudge and with the grace of a veteran. He'll probably demand a trade in a week.

Brock will end up the highest paid one year starter in history as he gets $37 million guaranteed. His agent is a God.

Indianapolis is going to look back on this season and wonder how they lost two games to the Texans. No way the Texas should be in the playoffs overy the Colts and Titans

Chiefs are squandering great chances today. They will lose this game because of it.

Andy Reid ices the kicker, he misses, makes the second try. Dolphins #1 seed dream lives.

That whole fourth quarter was like a chess game of horrible clock management between the Titans and Chiefs. Packers season also on a thread right now, tied with the Bears late.

Why? The Texans are probably the better team outside of the QB position.

It's crazy how bad Osweiler is. His accuracy is terrible.
