Letter carriers in the US being shot, killed, kidnapped, harassed, threatened really ticks me off, dammit.
Not that I want that to happen to anyone, but come on, we used to be the ones that could go anywhere in a given neighborhood and never feel we had to worry. Times sure have changed

You can park from $140-488 per semester, depending on where you want to park. That's about $2-6 per day. That's a weekend of partying for many students. I went to Mt. Royal from 2001-2004 and I believe our passes were in the $150-175 per semester range then. I had a job and used those funds to pay for it.

When I went to the UofC I hated the pricing and complained about 400/semester. I think I was told it was about a 4-5 year waiting list to get a good lot, not much good when you plan on being there for only 4 years.
That was nearly 10 years ago. When I went to SAIT a couple years ago I learned my lesson, they charged $13/day ( I see that it is now $16). It was cheaper for me by far to take my chances with the parking patrol, I'd go weeks without a parking ticket, when they tagged me it was only $30, I figured as long as I only get a parking ticket 1/3 days I come out ahead.

Valo43 is alive lol. Clicked on an old link and saw a Valo43 post, so I decided to clink on his name and see his last activity. It is now Jan 20th 2014.
Weird that he'd just up and stop posting like that, he was a frequent, daily poster for years and then just stopped cold one day in October last year, so I assumed he died.

We're about due for a pain in the ass acquaintance of mine to post one of her condescendingly self-righteous 'Here's whats happening in Ukraine, not that anybody cares' links on Facebook like she does with news stories of EVERY SINGLE issue that takes place in the world where someone is wronged.
It's not that she posts these links that grinds my gears me, it's how she typically frames her comments in some kind of smug condemnation of the rest of us because we didn't post them.

"Please play again"
Might as well print a picture of someone flipping the bird.
I've played again. Several times. Still not winning. Screw you Tim Hortons

Despite flameswin's wishes otherwise, I am sure most of us are happy that valo403 is still alive. Even though, to be honest, I didn't notice he was gone until flameswin brought it up.

Not. I consider him the stalker of CP. It's kind of creepy actually. That said...
As for my RGMG... we are (almost all) Canadian, yet what I see in this thread is quite often not polite, nor courteous.

WGMG is the sign that is on east bound Glenmore, right when you're going over Centre street. The thing has been blacked out from dirt for months and because there's hardly any shoulder there, it's so close to the road and every time I drive by; I think I'm going to hit it.

People that enable the time/datestamps on digital cameras really, really, grind my gears.

Those are typically the people who don't know how to turn off that default feature.
At least with the point and shoot cameras being replaced by smartphones, this will happen less and less (hopefully).

Well, that seems on-topic to me.
I know that would really grind MY gears. But hey, the Internet! Lot of talk, especially from guys like that.

I hate when young guys have 90's Hondas and Acuras with different coloured body panels, because they can't afford the paintjob to finish off their rides.
