Crazy hoax earlier today - CNN apparently reported that Malcolm Glazer died of a stroke. United and the BBC have now denied the rumours, Glazer is alive and well.

#thfc Jan Vertonghen says Spurs' failure to qualify for Champions League hasn't lessened his desire to move.

M'Vila camp tell me he will not be joining Arsenal or any other PL club as things stand. Only serious interest from elsewhere in Europe #afc

Referee Mike Dean has revealed he would have sent off Carlos Tevez if he had been afforded a full view of the clash between the Manchester City striker and QPR midfielder Joey Barton on the final day of the Premier League season.

Linesman very quiet on the matter considering he was quick to raise his flag for the elbow even though the closed fist was less than a second before.
Ho-hum, yet more evidence of United getting stiffed by the officials.

This is why we shouldnt have given them the vote....

his wife, Bouchra, believes the striker should repay the faith Arsenal showed in him when he was struggling for form and pointed to the fact that their family are settled in London.
"Arsenal showed faith in Robin when he was going through a lean time, so we should not repay them by thinking about other clubs," she was quoted as saying in the Sun. "Our home life and our children are happy in London."

Raul on La Liga
Quote:
Former Real Madrid striker Raul believes that the two-horse race at the summit of La Liga is not a reflection on the quality of the league, rather a demonstration Real and Barcelona's abilities.
Whilst many accuse La Liga of being a league which lacks competitiveness, due to the duo's dominance at the top, Raul believes that they would be similarly impressive in any league, including the Premier League.
Real Madrid finished nine points clear of rivals Barcelona, with third placed Valencia a further 30 points behind.

That may be so, but where would all of the other teams place? Probably in the bottom half I would imagine.

Liverpool plan to make the announcement of their new manager on Friday, ESPN understands. They have whittled their list of candidates down to Wigan's Roberto Martinez and Swansea's Brendan Rodgers, after a 'thorough' search for the right man to replace Kenny Dalglish.

I added the quote marks around the word 'thorough' as I feel its been anything but.
I have a very, very bad feeling about this. Roberto Martinez and an unwilling and reluctant Brendan Rodgers? You've got to be kidding me. I'd rather have Rafa than either of them and hes available.

I like Rodgers, I am hoping he sticks at Swansea for a few more years and then moves on to Spurs, him or AVB would have been my choices
