I actually think this a lot. It is raining/snowing/cold and that poor bastard is walking in it while my seat warmer is a tad too warm.

I can be a little more patient.

But yes, you sometimes have those diagonal crossing dummies just generally dragging their ass. Put a spring in your step.

I was crossing the street with the dogs yesterday and a guy speeding through our neighbourhood turned left behind me. He came within 3 feet of me in the crosswalk. I looked back at him and spread my arms out in the typical "what the hell man?" gesture.

He proceeded to stop in the middle of the road, roll down his window and yell at me that he 'gave me plenty of room' and that 'I should be glad he didn't hit me'.

Such a weird interaction. I was mildly annoyed (as evidenced by my gesture), but I didn't think it needed a confrontation. Clearly he did.

People suck, regardless of mode of transportation.

Biting the inside of my lip, then forgetting I did that and deciding to chew a piece of gum. The results were predictable...

I hate that you have to pay for parking at hospitals. I know the extra 77M goes towards operations for the AHS, but instead of the government paying 80M for Turkish Tylenol, maybe start subsidize parking so people aren't gouged trying to visit people in the hospital.

Not just visitors, also patients. There are many outpatient clinics, which means you have to pay to access them, unless you have convenient transit.

Yeah it is predatory in nature because you have no other choice. No different when stores raise the price of an essential item because of a crisis. If you are going to charge, do something reasonable instead of $2.50 per 30 mins.

Just wait till the UCP makes you have to buy your annual Hospital Visitor Pass.

And if the K country pass is any indication, they will take your pass money and then close the hospital

When I put a window screen back in with the pull tab facing the wrong side.

For the number of times they actually need to come out, it shouldn’t be a big deal, but damn is it a PITA when you have to go through the extra rigmarole to wiggle the screen up, and then find a paperclip to help pull it out.

Sometimes you have to remember that even the simplest gear grinders have a place, too. A nice, light-hearted gear grinder that isn’t too ragey or anything. Like the Corona of gear grinders.

Speaking of, we learned that you can't add a second plate to a K Country pass on line. You have to call on a weekday during business hours. In 2024.

Did they change that? I thought you could before when they first started this K-Pass business.

I don't think you could ever update/change license plates online. It is just bad form/database design. When you purchase you can add multiple license plates but you can't change them without calling.

And before the UCP, you didn't even need to pay at all. It was a much simpler system.

Yeah, that seems so simple to implement. Even our local ParkPlus for parking can deal with multiple plates tied to one account.

Yes, yes...but the plan is to get the rambler enthusiasts into K-Country and then wall it off....the Bears will take care of the rest...

That doesn't seem like an accurate statement...
