NBC's saving their best stuff to go head to head against American Idol tonight. In the last six years, American Idol has never lost to anything in the ratings. Shani Davis, Vonn, Ohno, and Shaun White could do it tonight.

Curling is more exciting than women's hockey.

Ugh, they're delaying mens hockey for a women's game? I know it's Canada and all, but lets face it; Mens hockey>>>>>Everything else.

Pee wee hockey is more exciting then women's. Hockey without checking isn't hockey.

Are any of our guys suppose to challenge for a medal in the mens half-pipe? I would think no.

What about the 1000m, is Denny supposed to challenge? I think Roberge is supposed to challenge for 500m short-track?

Won't be easy. All three of them are capable of getting to the podium (I especially like Martin's chances).. but its a deep field. More specifically, the Americans have a boatload of talent.

Shaun White has taken it to another planet with his riding. Guy's unreal.

EDIT: I just saw what happened to our guys in the half-pipe qualifications. Ugh.

Shaun White will get Gold, there is no question unless the Gods strike down upon him because he is Ginger.

That leaves 2 spots to challenge for essentially. I'll be cheering extra hard so only 1 American gets a medal.

It's 11-0 for Canada against the Swedes half-way through the game. The shots are 34-4.

The Swedes are the concensus #3 team in the tournament, no? Insane.

11-0 and it hasn't even been 30 minutes. They were saying on CTV about how Sweden was a MUCH BETTER opponent and would give us trouble.

If this is the kind of trouble they give us...

The US and Canada should just play for the Gold tomorrow.

Do our girls have to celebrate after each goal like they are? It's a little lame when they are facing competition that is nowhere near their level. Show some class and calm down.

No kidding, I understand when the men do it, even if it is 8-0. We hadn't scored in almost 2 games from previous Olympics, we need to score bloody goals this tourny.

How does the men's halfpipe work for qualifications? Top 10 of each heat? If that is the case, we have 1 guy that might possibly advance.

Was thinking the same. Just smile and go to the bench.

Feel bad for Sweden. They've utterly caved in this second period. They were just beaten, and aren't even putting up a token fight anymore. A flood of goals was the result - including two they put into their own net.

Way to blow a 4 minute PP and a 5-3 Canada. Going to come back to haunt you

One Canadian advances to the Semis in the half-pipe he was sitting on the bubble for a long time and came down to the last Snowboarder and he wiped out.
