Do people really pay attention to sigs? I have mine on, just because that is the default setting.
Other than the times people directly call attention to someone's sig, I never notice/read them.

If you don't get a little bit hard every time you see my sig then you aren't a Flames fan.

No pre-game tomorrow at Foothills for Rider fans. That sucks.

(that would be Foothills Stadium, not the hosiptal, that is for post-game)

Hey Bobblehead, I'm gonna let you finish, but Boblobla had the best anti-Kanye West quotes post in this thread. IN THIS THREAD!

Tomorrow should be a fun game if it's sold out. Lots of rider fans, lots of stamp fans. Hopefully no stabbings, and a game for first place.

Can't beat an actual Belgain waffle in Brugges. Crispy on the outside, and gooey in the middle.

There have been some hilarious debates on various CFL forums regarding the "sell outs" this year in the CFL.

Apparently there are at least a few thousand seats left in the temp. seats at McMahon for tomorrow and Stamps fans and Rider fans have been bickering about the validity of the game being a sell out because Calgary has barely had one all year...sort of.

See, in Regina the temp seats are now permanent. (made our total attendance go from about 29k to 30.5k) but we lost our sellout streak because even though they are temp seats, we are keeping them the whole season (and maybe longer).

Here in Calgary there has only been 1 or 2 true sell outs this year. (Labour Day didn't even really sell out if you count temp seats.)

However, the CFL DOESN'T count temp. seats in the sell out count so technically the Stamps have been OVER capacity in the last few games and will be tomorrow again.

Then of course you add in the Riders-Esks game from Commonwealth that supposedly had 63k fans, despite the fact they give away about 15k seats (and of course a boost from 10k Rider fans). Even then there wasn't close to 63k that night because half the people that got free tix didn't go.

Needless to say as much as I love the CFL, I think the whole argument is total BS. Rider fans trying to say they caused the biggest crowd ever in Edm (only half true), Stamps fans and others saying the supposedly "great" Rider fans let their sellout streak die, and Rider fans and others saying Calgary is just padding their numbers because they have been far from a sell out pretty much all year but with the temp seats not being counted in the total, but being counted in attendance, has produced "fake" sell outs.

And people say no one cares about the CFL...

Just keep in mind I have no real opinion on the matter. Pad attendance figures, don't pad them I don't give a crap. Lose our sell out streak at Taylor Field, don't lose it, it doesn't really matter.

Although it did piss me off when Calgary played at home a few weeks ago and they kept referring to the crowd as being "over capacity" even though the stadium wasn't even full. Like I said though, regular capacity is about 35k in Calgary, with temp capacity is about 45k (I think).

So even though the regular stands only had about 33k and the temp had about 3-5k of their 10k or so capacity the CFL still sees it as 37-8k people in a 35k "regular" capacity stadium, they considered it over capacity because they viewed it as 38k there/35k available. Even though the real numbers for that game were 38k there/45k available.

When I say "they", I mean TSN kept saying that and it was annoying.

I hate those dilemmas where you must decide if thanking a post is really worth pissing people off. The 50th post in the marriage thread by flip is beckoning me to thank it... but I do not want to seem like a dick to Edmontonians...

I wanna go to Brugges and eat waffles and drink Stella for a week straight. Then I want to buy a diamond, swallow it, and crap it out, just so I can say that my crap is worth more than yours.

Well, most of you don't care because you can't read.

You are one of the lucky ones Crusader.

did you only learn to read when you moved to Calgary? Or are you one of the lucky ones in Greaserville that was lucky enough to have an education?

I kid, I kid. There is nothing lucky about going to school in Edmonton. That place has more molestations than the Catholic Church.
