Visions of grandeur being needing one more win but the horseshoes fell out. Your star winger Petey making 11.6 for 8 more years showing he had zero playoff game. Your Norris trophy winning Dman Hughes playing like he was scared. The fact that Lindholm and Zadorov were a couple of your top playoff performers, the Canucks tried to sign them and they said no thanks and bolted is just icing on that delicious cake. Speaking of no money to sign the guys they wanted, at least the Canucks were paying OEL to win a Cup, finally someone on the Canucks payroll won one. Congrats! That cap hit is glorious 2.3 this year, 4.76! for the following two years, and then 2.1 for the next 4 years. Thats till the 2030-31 season if you're no good at math. OEL wasn't good enough for the Canucks but good enough to win a Cup.

I was so invested in the Canucks during their series with the Oilers I was wearing full on Canucks gear for the two weeks.

A lot of residual Canucks fandom remains and the only cure is for the Flames to get back into playoff contention and have a series against them ourselves.

Not really. Vegas is an incredibly easy choice here.

We want them to be bad in 2025/26, not 2024/25. If they're bad next year they'll just buy a new team and be good again for 2026.

I think if Edmonton finally win the division it will actually backfire on them.
They'll get a wild card Nashville, Winnipeg or someone like that instead of Vancouver again or their usual LA.
Edmonton losing in round 1 to a wildcard team would be nice.
I'd like May/June 2025 to be less stressful than May/June 2024

Not just the playoffs. From Feb 17 onwards he had 6 goals and 17 points to finish the season in 27 games. So add in the playoffs and you have a 40 game sample in which he had 7 goals and 22 points - a 14 goal, 45 point 82 game pace.

He also had a 17 points in 37 games stretch to start off 2021 so it isn't the first time. Although the flip side of that is he bounced back and scored a lot more after.

Remember when people were commenting about how damn boring the Vancouver playoff games were (including Canuck fan posters here!!) and it upset them so much that they kept replying in the threads here about how we were all so wrong and how the games were super duper exciting, fast paced and thrilling?
