I think this game would have been better with a no information sharing rule or at least no private communication.
This game and the saddle dome food game seemed to be to known. Games like the food chain and zombie there was risk in sharing info. In this one sharing with everyone ensures a 12 way tie so the only way to lose was not to share.
It is interesting that no one lies when sharing. Everyone is worried that lies will have them outcast but I think lying will become more common in the last few rounds. Not from me though, I will always deal honestly.

In this one the idea was that lying and the moves by those who gave or received false information before the horses move into the no bet zone would be the key. But by round 6 everyone knew cause nobody lied.
Here is how it played out in the tv show

The problem with lying is you only get to do it once. Reputation to continue to get fed info is so important here. The other aspect I think is that the goal of each game is 1st don't lose, then try to win.

On a side note, Gaudreaus don't seem to matter all that much. I am not sure if they will come into play more later in the game but gaining them isn't worth the risk of ending up in an elimination round.
From this point forward please no help from anyone. No PMs or posts in this thread other than from Boo Radley, squiggs96 or myself.
A quicktopic thread has been created for the other players.
Bandage Man is offering the other 8 players a chance to bet 1 or 2 Gaudreaus on who will win this deathmatch. PM your selection to GirlySports by 6:30pm. Selections will not be made known to the players.
Today’s Death Match is…
TRUTH DETECTOR
This is the same game as Death Match #1, I will remind you of the rules.
In this game, you will use false information given by your opponent to guess their password. Both of you will use the numbers 0 to 9 to make a 4 digit password. There are no restrictions to making a password. You can make one with just one number (1111) or all different numbers (1234)
When you have come up with a password, PM that password to GirlySports
Once GirlySports receives both passwords at 6:30pm, you will take turns asking questions about each other’s passwords (with squiggs96 going first). Then the person receiving the question must answer with a lie. If you tell the truth, the truth detector will activate and you will have to reveal a number not in your password to the opponent as a penalty.
You are only allowed to ask questions about the password, when you answer you may not give an unrelated answer, an impossible answer or an evasive answer
For example, when asked
“how many odd numbers are in your password?”
You cannot answer
“I’m a man” (unrelated)
“There are 5” (impossible)
“I don’t know” (evasive)
If you had 3 odd numbers in your password, you have to answer with a lie like “2” or “4”.
The person who guesses their opponents password in the correct order using this false information first wins. However guessing will take a turn. Meaning if you are wrong, the questioning turn will be passed to your opponent.
Boo Radley and squiggs96 if you have an questions regrading the rules you can ask here.
Please send me your password by 6:30pm and then squiggs96 will start the questioning.

If you want to slowly do this throughout the day, I'm okay with that too. The owner of my company is not in today, so I have a little more freedom to access the internet. I likely won't spaz out if there are delays like I did to Rathji. I'm free for the lunch hour (1pm in Calgary for Girly) as well if it works for the two of you.
I'm still fine to start it at 18:30 PST if you want to do it then.
