United still have a game in hand. With Arsenal and Swansea to finish for City, good chance they lose out (especially if Madrid blows them away and crushes their confidence). Could still snag that top 4.

It's the United winning out bit I struggle with.

Broken record here, but I don't know if I want United top 4, as I'm certain that LVG will be retained if so.

In other news, Courtois wants to leave Chelsea.

and it begins.

Manchester City have agreed to pay the €50m (£39m) release clause to sign French defender Aymeric Laporte in the summer from Athletic Bilbao, according to reports in Spain.

As revealed by the Guardian last month, City have identified the 21-year-old as their top defensive target for new coach Pep Guardiola despite the centre-half being ruled out until August with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.

The club’s sporting director Txiki Begiristain was pictured in Bilbao last month, with Basque newspaper EITB reporting that City have told Athletic officials that they are willing to meet his release clause. “It is a specific request of Pep Guardiola,” read the report.

hardly a surprise, given that Citys defense showed their "quality" just yesterday and Laporte is a typical Guardiola centre-half.

A small, undersized midfielder?

Dembele can join Alli in the stands for the last couple of games.

Yeah but, I appreciate Costa getting eye gouged.

Spurs are really leaving this title race for a Spurs-like final weekend.

Yeah, couldn't happen to a nicer fella.

Second half could be interesting. Clattenburg has lost control and there could be a few reds handed out in order to get it back. Rose is odds on favourite.

Weird.

Hazard scored that about 15 minutes early.

9 bookings and suspension to follow tells the story of their meltdown.
