Ahhh yes.. now I remember.

But now I'm even more upset that they used the same character name twice!

was hoping for a lot more intriguing final season to this show than what i've seen thus far.

vogol, now this kid, are just not interesting at all.

My guess is that this kid will be what save dexter/deb from hannah and becomes the protege for dexter who is likely killed at series end.

In any case, think the writers are really out of ideas. I was addicted to this series, but looking back, the first 2 seasons were unreal, and the show has been pretty meh eversince.

Hey Dexter, don't throw the stuffed animal in the wash to at least lose the colour of blood!

Wow, tough crowd. I'm actually quite enjoying this season and am excited to see how it wraps up.

I can't wait for dexter to be over. The only reason i still watch is because i've made it this far, and the potential for hanna boob

This show is awful. Watching it right after Breaking Bad makes it look even worse. Just end this thing already.

Funny you say that Ark - my wife and I did the same thing and I mentioned to her that it was like watching our kids puppet shows after seeing BB

I enjoyed the episode, still better than a lot that is on TV. I can't wait for it to be over either, so the haters don't have to watch it anymore

Sorry, I don't find Hannah attractive. The now deceased neighbour, on the other hand.

The sports bar scene was awfully nice as well. Sort of felt dirty with Masuka hanging around with his "daughter" in that fashion. I wonder if that story will end up going somewhere, or did they just decide to finally give Masuka something to do in the last season of the show?

Writers dropped the ball again. They introduce the neighbor....who is an obvious Star Trek red shirt...we all know she is going to die one way or another. It would have been much better if we all thought it was the neighbor that Zack killed but when Dexter shows up to the neighbors apartment it is Jaime who is dead. Quinn could then somehow link it to Zack and go all vigilante.

So many laughable moments...Dexter says him and Zack can't be seen together...the next day they are sitting together chatting in front of the police station. And the whole Hannah poisoning him and Debra was straight out of a day time soap. And I think I hate Zack's haircut more than I hate his acting.

ya this masuka plot better amount to something, otherwise it's just a akward unrelated plot line that adds little to no value (story or entertainment-wise).

I still find it hard to believe this is the final season as there is absolutely nothing that makes it stand out compared to other seasons. Just another ordinary day in Dexter's life, with a bunch of other side plots no one really cares about. Not saying they're all terrible, but I am not on the edge of my seat wondering if Quinn and Jamie "make it" as a couple.

Also I just can't see Dexter being killed off as there isn't a single character worthy of doing the deed. Some people say Zach Hamilton will, but that would just be a real kick in the balls for us viewers to have one of the worst characters kill off Dexter; no chance will Hall (as the producer) allow that. Maybe Debra will, but if she hasn't already what exactly sets her off?

Just look at how well done Breaking Bad was last night, and compare that to Dexter. While I am still a fan of Dexter there honestly was more entertainment in one episode of BB then there has been in the entire season of Dexter thus far. Now Dexter usually does improve over the course of the season, so hopefully they won't let everyone down.

Just popping in to say the 3rd and 4th episodes were infinitely better then the 1st and 2nd. Just up to episode four now so won't look and join in on the discussion but glad to see it's gotten much better. 1st episode of the season was one of the worst of the series.

I'm no expert in behind-the-scenes of a TV show but I think it hurts a TV show when the original writer and creator leaves. I really think that the main creator of the show must stick with the show in its entirity, along with loyand handful of writers.

Clyde Phillips was the the Vince Gilligan of Dexter if I am not mistaken. He left the show after season 4 unfortunately. It has been downhill ever since.

Imagine Gilligan leaving Breaking Bad and what a disaster it would have been.

Its not that other show-runners are bad; its just that they can never understand the show as the original showrunner did. The same vision is never consistently implement.

Season 3 was pretty weak too.
