10 wins and only 2 against teams over .500(IND,TEN) and IND a fragile team who they barely squeaked out a win.

Sunday should be good. Patriots going for the undefeated season. Pretty good race in the NFC for that last playoff spot and in the AFC the battle between the Titans and Browns sure is close. Titans win and they're in! That makes me super excited, I'd love to see my boys back in the post season.

Man, San Diego is sure full of themselves. It's comical to watch. Rivers talking trash to Champ Bailey. Like he's Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.
The Chargers will lose and lose badly in the second round no matter who they play. They are a fraud in a fraud division.
|
Agreed. I think they lose in the first round to Cleveland!
Poor Denver.

Rivers is just a complete joke, and I can't wait to see someone talk to him after his team gets booted from the playoffs. For someone who plays along one of the classiest, most respected, players in the league (LT) he comes off as the biggest tool in the entire NFL. Karma will come back to you Phillip

I really wonder where the Chargers would be right now if they still had Drew Brees. Throw out Brees' first four games of this year and focus on the last 11, and he has put up MVP-type #'s yet again. I can't even imagine what the Saints' record would be right now if not for Brees, it'd be ugly.

Well the Chargers are 9-2 since the first 4 games of the season...so they likely wouldn't have a much better record with Brees than with Rivers. Although they'd likely be considered as a team who'd have a legitimate shot at being able to go into Indy and beating the Colts in the second week of the playoffs if they had Drew over Shutup Pip nobody likes you Rivers.

I see the NFL caved to pressure and will allow NBC & CBS to simulcast the Pats final game.

CBS was saying that for the last Pats game, 12 million people were watching.
And the advertisers paid over half a million for a 30 second add.
Geez.

Looks like Giants are throwing this game away and selling all their tickets to Pat fans to hopefully witness history. I thought about flying out to New York to watch this game just to say I was there but decided to save my money for a Flames road trip.

Brandon Jacobs says they dont care they play better on the road and thats what it will feel like. HA! How can that not hurt you a little as a player...

Colts sign Sanders to a 5 year 37.5 million deal. Great news to have one of the best defensive players in the league locked up long term. Good news day for the Colts with the return of the second best reciever in the NFL coming back this weekend.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Bob Sanders is a MONSTER on defense. Absolutely amazing news. I was worried about him signing an extension but it's great to see he will be back. Good news now is that we can focus on signing Dallas Clark. Sanders, Freeney, Manning, Vinatieri, Addai, Harrison, Wayne all locked up long term = .

I don't know, that's a pretty steep deal for a guy who's played 38 games in 4 seasons....especially with $20 million guaranteed.
But is the difference make on that defense, but how many big money players is this team going to be able to afford?

It is a lot of money but if I had to give it to one guy on that defense it would be Sanders. He has stepped up huge since Freeney has been out. The defense runs through him. Last year when he was hurt, the Colts were giving up 5.3 yards per carry. This year they are 1st in pass defense and are down to something like 3 and a half yards per carry. In terms of your last question, we can use the franchise tag on Clark if needed to keep him around, so then Clark, Manning, Addai, Wayne, Harrison, Vinatieri, Sanders, Freeney would all be locked up for a minimum of 3 years.

Yeah I read that this afternoon. A great career for Rod Smith. I remember the 97-98 Superbowls. A fine career for a fine player. Too bad injuries are going to end his career but he will always be remembered as a great reciever.
PS......Who are #1-2 on your list? Is this your favorites list or best Bronco players ever? I'm assuming Elway is #1. Terrell Davis was huge as well those years in Denver.

Best ever. Favorites would be different, slightly....maybe
1. Elway
2. TD
3. Rod Smith
4. Shannon Sharpe
5. Randy Gradishar

1 More Sleep!
Can't wait to watch this game, either way it will be something special. Then off to watch UFC, sucks I will miss a few fights but whatever this could be history.
Also Saunders is a great signing, but as someone mentions the only thing I would worry about is the gauranteed money since he has missed almost 1/2 his games over the past 4 years. If he can stay healthy it will be great, if he continues to play 10ish games a year then a lot of people will be questioning that deal.
