Oh man, what a crazy match point and Tommy Paul avoids a 10 point match tie-break winning set 5 7-5

Emma Raducanu vs. Elena Rybakina is a pretty good match to start the day.

Well, I thought it was going to be a great match- Elena takes it 6-1 6-2 in 62 minutes. Just stream-rolled Emma out there who didn't have much of a chance today, Elena just too good.

Which means Sabalenka-Fernandez won't be late.
With the Blue Jays, gonna need 2 tvs going.

Fascinating match. Shelton is under so much stress and pressure and Mannarino is just smiling, blocking balls back.

I had to leave when Shelton called for trainer. How did it go after that?
Edit: Not well. Looks like he is retiring.

Also... I hate using the word "retire" to quit a match. I guess it is a nice way to say "I quit" but often you'll hear "so and so is retiring" and immediately I think "but they're so young, they have lots of tennis left".

Mannarino with his racquet string tension at 25 lbs., how he controls the ball is a mystery to me. Too bad for Big Ben, I wanted to see a Ben vs. Charlie match. Oh well, hope he recovers quickly.

Tough day for the Americans as first Shelton (injured) and just now Tiafoe are eliminated.

First two games between Leylah and Aryna took 18 minutes.

Novak with the plot twist tonight, usually he drops the first set before winning three straight, tonight he won the opening set and then dropped set 2.

What’s with TSN playing the same match on all channels when there are other matches on. Feels like a crappy practice to get people to subscribe to their plus subscription.

Townsend is playing incredible tennis. Doesn't get much easier though with a likely path of Krejcikova, Pegula and Rybakina/Sabalenka just to make the final with Swiatek on the other side but i'm definitely rooting for her
