Why couldn't it have been Zverev who had their career ruined by injuries. Sometimes life isn't fair

Ben Rothenberg tweeted out recently that the ATP is finally talking to Zverev's former girlfriend Olga Sharypova. That only took 17 months.

Oh man, Sinner just retired. The ladies match (Badosa vs. Pegula) earlier today also had a retirement by Badosa after five games (just like Sinner).

We're going to have to wait for an explanation, Sinner didn't seem to have an injury and he didn't take a MTO, he just told the umpire that he was done and shook Cerundolo's hand and that was that.
Edit: Foot blisters.

We might have a 3rd retirement today as Zverev is looking lethargic out there.
Edit: Or maybe not - Ruud's level dropped and the Fraud's level has risen.

You seriously had to jinx it, didn't you? I was really hoping.

Ruud got a blister on his pinky toe wrapped and is moving much better in this 3rd set.

HAPPY ZVEREV ELIMINATION DAY EVERYONE!
... I usually only celebrate at grand slams where it's a sure thing but I'll take this one too.

We all know Ruud is damn good on the dirt, but he's turning into a pretty good hard court player as well. He pocketed the biggest win of his career last night.

Hubi Hurkacz just defeated Medvedev 7-6 6-3 and that means that Djoker remains #1 in the world.
