There's an early break for Roger as the Shapo backhand is looking shaky early.

I'm not liking the Rafa Knee Tape look on Shapo. Hopefully it doesn't become a chronic thing.

I might have to mute Chris Fowler, he's driving me crazy already.

He looks very intimidated, so many dumb errors.

If this was a boxing match, the ref would be giving Shapo a standing eight count right about now.

Hopefully he can at least avoid the Fed 60 minutes or it's free special.

Hey, that's two more games than Anderson won in the opening set last night.

Geez, that was a great backhand by Denis, but just a tremendous volley from Roger.

I like Shapo's attitude though, staying light and positive and that was a good opening game to start the 2nd set.

Darn it, it could be a while before Shapo sees any more break points again.

Now that was a clinic right there, Roger goes from on the ropes in a game to basically choking Shapovalov out. That's what the greats do, turn it on to inflict maximum damage.

My word, he's still this good at 37. What defense.

Yeah, I want to see Reilly Opelka run down some of those shots that Denis is getting to, ESPN can pound sand.

Well if I said before the match Roger would be under 50% first serve you'd have said Denis might have had a decent chance at taking at least a set, but that was a schooling even still. Hopefully Roger makes it easy against Isner so I can watch my last Isner match for ideally the rest of time.
