Christie never stood a chance.

Ben Carson is clearly a narcissistic sociopath.
I don't think he's electable at all, but if the cosmos were to align, he would be by far the most terrifying option.
Cruz is a scary sociopath as well, but I don't think he's quite as irrational as Carson. Trump is all bluster, and I think a Trump presidency wouldn't be the worst thing. Certainly better than Carson or Cruz, and probably less damaging than Rubio.
I think it's clear right now that Rubio is the favourite.

I was going to ask who gets up one day and says "today I'm going to build a shrine... to me!". But it probably isn't like that, it's probably no different than me putting LEGO I like on my desk or artwork I like to look at on my wall... I put up stuff I like to look at where I can look at it. He does the same thing, it's just his favourite stuff about himself.

I think it's quite clear that the U.S.A is about to get it's first female president, at the very least another democrat.

No you had it right the first time. This is Clinton's to lose. Bush could give her a run for her money but seemingly he's our of it... Cruz, Trump, Carson? GOP really drudging from the bottom of the barrel this cycle aren't they.

Maybe in 4 years they can get Arnold to run!

Arnold's not eligible as he wasn't born an American citizen and besides that he seemed to do a terrible job running California.

Strategically it should have come down to one of Bush (wins you Florida), Rubio (also Florida), Kasich (Ohio without difficulty), or Christie (possibly Pennsylvania?) ... these are the people who have an electoral math shot in a general. Rubio's still alive, the others are toast.

I read an article today about Carson that said his whole entire charade is aimed at book sales and appealing to the evangelical Christians. Only thing that makes sense.

Forget the picture with Jesus, he has an engraving of a quote from Proverbs, and the engraver misspelled "Proverbs".

His whole house looks like it's home to the satirical version of him. That painting of him on the staircase just needs the double guns pose.

Running for the presidency in the US is a very lucrative proposition if you aren't interested in maintaining credibility.
Mike Huckabee does it every year it seems.

Yes. He wants to appeal to the evangelical christians so he can win some early delegates and hope he gets some momentum in the other states to get a nomination. It's his only play. But like Huckabee and Santorum and some others it won't lead to a nomination.

I just find it so odd how all these Christian sects don't attack each others beliefs more often. We have a major candidate who's Mormon, a 7th day Adventist, etc.. If that happened, the Republican Christian base would implode into infighting.
Any ideas on how we can light that match?

It seems that for most Christian groups, their common enemy are Catholics and the Pope. From my experience, they all look past their own differences and band together vs the Catholics (and Orthodox I suppose as well).
