Is there any way to watch After-hours online if you live in the States?
I haven't seen it listed on the CBC Gem app and the HNIC stream ends as soon as the game is over.
I don't know if CBC streams it online, or if you need a VPN to watch it, but they usually post the interviews on YouTube, on the Sportsnet channel after the fact.
For example this was posted a day after we played EDM

The only guarantees are:
- no matter what the team does, some people will hate it.
- years later, moves will be judged with hindsight as if the knowledge was known when the move was made

And if you don't see the 2nd, I would prefer trading Markstrom, as he is at full value now, the Flames aren't going to compete for a while, and his value will start to slide with time.
The other thing moving Markstrom does, is create a ton of cap space. And Conroy understands that it can be used in lots of ways.
Get assets for Markstrom, develop Vladar and Wolf for the next while, see where you are in another year or two.
Well it's not like the Jets ended up getting nothing for their 2nd OA pick. They still have a near point per game 6'3 center from their trade with LA, which came from their trade from Columbus.
Even if the high picks don't turn out, you can often get quite a value just from good asset management.

Except a 2OA isn’t a paper clip. But you are right, if the point is high picks = success because they still got assets from trading that 2OA, Columbus and Edmonton belie that argument. And at the end of the day is Iafallo really a Lamborghini? Or more like a solid SUV.
Do they want Vladar right away? Flyers currently losing 4-0 in the first to Boston

Yesterday, Steinberg, and Francis were speculating that there might be a surprise Mangiapane trade at the trade deadline.
I would be a very surprised if we trade bread this year, instead of in the off-season, or at the next year's deadline.
I kind of think we're hanging on to Bread... Bread, Backs, Coleman works as a tough minute line and I think the team will want a tough minute line while the young guys level up.

Me thinks that would be a perfect spot for Pospisil.
The way Conroy wanted all his retention spots sounds like Bread would be a top target next year, if the sun starts coming up in the west and Flames start unloading some players.
Dubois’ attitude issues aren’t limited to “early in his career”. It’s pretty apparent he was the guy that Doughty just called out.
Starting to wonder if Sutter ends up coming back somewhere. Sutter goes back to LA? Irons the hell out of PLD. Or Berube. Seems like a player that needs to be sorted out.
