Damn, come on San Diego. I am pulling for a Chargers win today (and that rarely happens where I am going for SD).

I think the weather was a huge advantage, returns (especially theirs) always have some luck considering how easy it is to call penalties so to get two was very lucky lucky and any game in which you get less than 100 yards of offense is always going to involve some luck especially against a team that is much better than you.

SD TD. 19-14 Titans.
Rivers looks like he will break Marino's record for most passing yards in a season.

WTF are you talking about? Both teams have to deal with the weather. How is it any easier to get penalties on returns than any other play? So they were lucky because their return units were well-disciplined?
How are the Chargers a better team than the Chiefs? That team is poorly coached and lacks any franchise talent outside of Rivers and Gates.

Although he just scored a TD Matthews looks like a terrible choice, especially since they moved up to get him.
Getting Vince jackson back and the no existent run game might just get him the record.
Plus he does get to play the Broncos and Raiders at least once more each if I am not mistaken which can't hurt his chances.

I think he might too. It's too bad that a good chunk of his teammates don't play with the same fire and enthusiasm he does. I hate his trash talking, but I love the way the guy plays the game.

If one team like the Chargers relies on the pass and can't run then the weather will impact them negatively. if one team can only run and can't pass then who cares if the rain screws up their passes.
Returns are easier to get penalties because of the numerous holds, blocks in the backs etc. Watch games you will see more often than not there are penalties on returns of more than 10 yards.
The Chargers are a better team because they have a lot more talent, especially at the key positions, equal coaching and a better GM.

It is a little early to be labeling Mathews a terrible choice. He's been playing with a bad ankle since week 3 I believe and he runs behind an awful offensive line.

Lol, I was going to post the same thing. It looked like a guy off the street was playing.
Oh and Titans have a 19-17 lead on the Chargers halfway through the 3rd.

What? Why aren't the Vikings going for that? With Adrian as the RB they should get that every time.

The Chargers are the anti-clutch this year. They fall behind, get back in the game, but always fail to make the big play at crunch time to pull out the game. They have talent that is great in minutes 1-59, but ceases up and chokes when it really counts.

Hopefully this week is different. I want Tennessee to lose the game as the AFC South is so tough this year!

TD Chargers. 48 yard passing play. 24-19 Chargers now in the lead.
Patriots with a 21-10 lead on Minny. Vikings in huge trouble.

Are you high?! It's not even the fourth quarter yet, why would any team be in trouble with an 11 point deficit in the 3rd quarter?

Yes I am high.
Geez, what is your problem? I didn't say Minnesota was going to lose the game. There is plenty of time left. Being down 11 points with 16 minutes left to a 5-1 football team on the road with Tom Brady as the QB is not a bad position? Of course Minnesota can come back, I never said they wouldn't. But it's not an ideal situation is it?

All I know is that if the Pats can hold on to this one, I really like the Packers chance of winning that division a whole lot more.
What a gut-check win for them today, I thought they would get blown out. Throwing up a shutout in NY against a really good team....gotta be good for morale. The Bears are ahead of them because of the head to head win and one less loss, but they are imploding of late. If they can beat the Cowboys next week at home, get into the bye week and get at least 3 or 4 of the injured back, they have a chance to get back to the team most thought they would be at seasons start.
