Nice to see Eric Lauer pitch into the 6th and only give up 1 run. If they can stabilize the bottom part of the rotation that will make a big difference.

If we still had Ryan Yarnbrough to go with Lauer in the 4/5 spot we'd be set...

They're paying Green $10.5MM this year, he'll get tons of rope so Atkins doesn't have to admit that was a huge blunder.

I'm anti-Atkins as any, but what choice did Atkins have with Green? Surely more recently he hadn't been good but he had a decent track record to keep him here.

It would be great if Max was more pitch efficient tonight. Great to see him strike out three but one pitch outs would be sweeter.

Max was good. Shame the hitters aren’t.

That was a fun half of the inning, 4-3 Jays.

Lane Thomas came into this series with a .418OPS. He's now 4-7 with 2 HR's so far this series. What the actual ####?

That 1st AB by Heineman in the top 10th was a killer blow to a chance of winning.

As long as Max is feeling physically fine after they start, today was not a total loss.

Giminez with a horrible game defensively that won’t show on the box score

Relay throw hits a guy costing an out , relay throw home up the first base line allowing a run and costing an out , and whatever the F he was doing in the 10th

That was a tough loss. Had a couple chances to blow it open late but couldn't do it. The bottom 4 of the lineup were brutal tonight.

Any team that plays Tampa Bay is apparently useless right now...

Hope we get good Gausman tomorrow, but don't bet on it.

Speaking of Atkins. Was at the game today and ran into him at the front gate trying to get friends / family into the game. Was a fun game to be at, was good to see Mad Max in person in a Blue Jays uni!

At today’s matinee game as well. Gausman’s given up some loud outs. Doesn’t look like a ‘good Gausman’ game. Time will tell . . .
