Omg that is absolutely priceless. Of course we have established numerous times that I don't actually watch any of our shows so thank you for the heads-up. That Pike YouTube thumbnail had me winded.
We did another prospect show last night, it was fun!
I thought the top10 prospect podcast was great. Hopefully they'll do it again after the draft.
The first rounders from 2025 likley don't even make our top 5.
I don't mind when Pinder is a jerk with Boomer and Rhett, but with Scorp and Pike it was tough to listen to. Mike was trying to suggest Honzek's drsft production wasn't far off Misa's, and got cut off five times before finally being able to get a word in.
Skipped through randomly and ended up on the trivia portion towards the end; Mikael Backlund was still wearing the rookie assigned #60 when he scored his first.
During the whirlwind signing and emergency call up for his debut in 2009 I believe he hit the cross bar on his first attempt as well. Though that would take way too much digging to confirm.

Just my take but one of the big reasons I enjoy working with Pinder is because we aren't afraid to challenge each other. Nothing is more boring to me than a show where the hosts do nothing but "yes, and" each other the whole time. It might come across a different way on camera but to me, Pinder is hardly ever a jerk. Hardly at all!

It would be much better if he did not interrupt. Constantly. You can object and offer a different opinion but wait until the other person is done talking.

I agree, I like the whole crew, even The In The Dome guys. If everyone got along and it was all PG it would feel like a Ron Mclean segment and be way less successful. You need a little bit of drama and unique personalities. I like angry Rhett, know it all Pinder, long winded Pike, sunglasses at night Boomer, etc. makes it unique. These are terms of endearment, I don't mean these traits as an insult FYI.

Love it. The whole episode was great, particularly the 'how do the Flames improve' chatter. Dropping a whole bunch of truth and frustration for just how far the Flames are from meaningfully competing.
