Christian Eriksen draws in for Brentford, 259 days since his brief time away from this world laying on a pitch in Copenhagen.

Good for him! Good on the fans and players.

Thats a true 'feel good' story. From the brink of Death he returns.

And by all accounts he seems like a stand-up guy.

On another note, tomorrow's FA Cup final against Chelsea is going to be wild.

We shall see how the London crowd reacts.

info was correct. Leeds have confirmed his dismissal today.

not sure Marsch is going to move the needle for them. I wasn't all that impressed with him at Salzburg (his predecessors like Rose and Hütter did a better job IMO and consequently became household names in the German BL) and Marsch failed at Leipzig. I'd be surprised if he could quickly give them the necessary defensive stability, especially coming in during the season.

Normally you'd say 30 more minutes of a match at 0-0 would be a pain, but this has been totally chaotic fun, so more is welcomed.

Well that was a goal. No way he’s offside, and as usual VAR is just stupid.

Lol of course they brought in Kepa as the "specialist", and not only does he not make a single save, he misses a penalty horribly to lose the match.

Seems like yesterday he was refusing to be subbed off in place of a specialist in the League Cup final.

I had doubt!

That was a fantastic game, so much so I might watch it again.

That was two heavyweights trading haymakers for 120 minutes.

Wide open, back and forth it was great.

I definitely thought Liverpool had more chances and Mendy made some fantastic saves to keep them in it, Kelleher was absolutely outstanding.

And that Luis Diaz fella is a gem.

I hate these moves. They are so dumb. Like England bringing in Cold players to take penalties, etc. but you ride the Horses that brought you there.

Mendy was having an outstanding game, he was feeling it, arguably Man of the Match.

Ride your hot hand. But I'll take it though. A trophy is a trophy. Throw it in the cabinet and keep on rolling.

I’m glad that you guys won. I’d much rather that as opposed to Chelsea and Roman at this point. I have no idea why you switch goalies there, but that’s what cost them. That was a fun game to watch though, for a 0-0.

I think they're still cruising the Thames looking for Kepa's PK ball...

The City fix is in!

Quote:
Everton have received an apology from the Premier League's head of referees, Mike Riley, after the failure to award an injury time penalty against Manchester City on Saturday.

Riley, the general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), which oversees all refereeing in England, personally called Everton chairman Bill Kenwright and manager Frank Lampard to apologise and admit a mistake had been made by the VAR.

"We've lost a point because of a professional who cannot do his job right. You start searching for whys and I can't think why. It is so incompetent to get it wrong.
https://global.espn.com/football/man...-lampard-fumes

So City run away with undeserved points.

Roman has put Chelsea up for sale, per Telegraph. Probably inevitable with everything going on.

Considering his assets may be frozen, now's the time to get an EPL club cheap! No money down!

How much do you want to bet some shady shell company in Panama picks it up for nothing and lo and behold on their Board of Directors sits one Mr. Abramovich.
