From a great MRI scan to a good pre-shower dump in two posts.

This thread has got it all.

my daughter cracks me up (she's 9). she's probably one of the most thoughtful people i have ever met - always concerned/considerate of others (and of things).

i opened the fridge this morning to see this....
IMG_5094 by bc-chris, on Flickr

i asked the obvious question... "why is there a penguin in the fridge?"

and this is what i was told... "well daddy, mommy was saying this morning that it's going to be pretty hot for the next few days and we all know that penguins prefer cooler temperatures so i put the penguin in the fridge to keep him cool!"

ha! she's awesome!

I love this! Hahahaha. My son called me one day, he had taken his son to the park right after breakfast and my grandson went on the old school merry-go-round for a while then got off and took Dad’s hand and went to the car indicating he wanted to leave. In the car a few blocks from home he started crying then threw up scrambled eggs all over! My son was a mess trying to clean up the car, the car seat, his son. Lesson learned. Let meals digest before the park! My grandson is non-verbal, with severe Autism and can’t communicate easily. He tried in this case.

Went to the labour day classic with extended family and watched the Stamps win. For the rematch yesterday it was my families September birthdays BBQ. Horseshoes, pulled pork, and water fights for the kids. Watching the Stamps punching Edmonton in the mouth was icing on the cake. Great day.

Killing fruit flies/flies/mosquitoes with those electric racket zappers. They just explode like little fire crackers.

I got a call last night from a delivery crew saying that they'd be by between 0830 and 0900 this morning.

I doubted that, but prepped for it anyhow, getting what I needed ready.

08:30.01...doorbell rings, they are here. Impressive.

WFH today… started super early and ending late but;
- squeezed in a midday outside workout. Colors starting to change and no bugs. Smoke not anywhere near as bad as I’d thought.
- late day wobbly pop at the WFH computer table whilst doing emails, with some Bob Marley tunes going…

Getting back into A Tribe Called Quest.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy their music.

This doesn’t make me happy but I like to amuse myself at times. At the gym working out listening to Opeth “Bleak” on my AirPods and I wondered if I could AirPlay over the gym speakers. Turns out I can lol. It took a bit for people to notice but it was kind of funny when the death metal vocals part came in over the slow stuff as I could see the ladies kind of looking around wondering what’s up with that. Immature I know but makes the workout more fun.

I accidentally bought conditioner instead of shampoo a couple of shopping trips ago, and decided to try using it today. What have I been missing out on! My hair is so full and fluffy, and bouncy and smooth and silky. Pick an adjective, any adjective.

Conditioner is a must if your hair is longer than medium length. When I had long hair my wife and I would get into fights as I would use here expensive conditioner.
