For many families a nanny or child care are a necessity for them to be able to thier jobs. The difference is they have to pay for theirs while Trudeau gets his paid for by the taxpayers of Canada. JT is an entitled prick feeding at the trough

For many people drug costs are prohibitive and a necessity to live. Yet he likely has drug coverage. Boohoo

That doesn't make a difference to me. I go to the same massage therapist I've always gone to. My company pays for it now, because it's one of my benefits.

I have no problem with providing a nanny for the prime minister if he/she has minor children. It seems like a reasonable benefit for that job to me.

This is a reasonable, thoughtful response. I can understand and appreciate it. I might even agree, were it not for the campaign posturing. Regardless, your response lacks the spittle covered screens that most Trudeau apologists feel compelled to spew.
In my opinion, the only real scandalous part is paying only $11/hr for child care providers.

I suspect Trudeau got the same benefits when he was an MP? Why is it a big deal now?

Does anyone know if 24 Sussex is wasting our tax dollars on name brand toilet paper or whether they are true patriots who walk the walk using Kirkland brand?

The optics of the situation look bad where he tells the rich they don't need govt assistance and they should pay for child care it out of the own money.

I get that having a nanny is a necessity for him to do his job but isn't it also the same for many working Canadians? Can you not see the inconsistancy?

Many working Canadians are not the Prime Minister of Canada.

I want my PM to lead by example when he says the rich can pay for their own child care.

The fact this is even remotely an issue shows just how unbelievably well JT has performed over his first three (highly stressful) weeks in office.

It's actually amazing. There are seemingly endless substantive points to potentially attack the PM on, but the CPC crowd is talking about nannies. Just goes to show how much the PM has absolutely aced this hectic early period.

Incredibly impressive, and the CPC noise about nannies confirms his A+ performance beyond doubt.

I seem to remember the Liberals raising a hug fuss over Bev Oda and her $15 glass of orange juice

The rift is growing wider in this thread where you're either right-right or left-left.

Perhaps we should start a new thread.
