His tag has nothing to do with the show, if you don't care what happens in the comics you can read it with ease.

It could happen in the show so I wouldn't click on the spoiler.

Judging by the previews we see I would think it won't happen that way.
As we have seen from the preview of season 3

I was watching some of season 1 the other day with my wife, and in it the zombies use rocks to smash the store window. They appear to pick them up. As the series goes on, the zombies don't do this again.
Do you think the show has dumbed down the zombies?

The show generally uses the Romero-zombie archetype (slow, thoughtless), but has been pretty inconsistent in their exact behaviour (ie - from smelling Rick and Glen through zombie guts in the rain, to not smelling a large group of people hiding under cars). They did seem a little dumber this episode (less alert and dangerous), which I think they're doing to show the characters are becoming more savvy. So the zombies seem to be whatever the plot needs them to be
It seems like the show is finally finding it's legs: carl has a gun, rick has his balls, the weak sauce characters are mostly dead and it looks like the prison will get done right.

The Walking Dead was already the the most successful basic cable drama of all time in the adult demo. Last night was up more than 50 percent from season two. And if you include The Walking Dead‘s encore telecast in the mix — which is a common habit for cable networks when touting their ratings — the total viewer number rises to 15.2 million. Sure, it’s two airings, but still … that’s edging into NCIS territory.

I'm sure I read online somewhere that this season they're trying to show more deterioration on the walkers. I think the comment was that the program wanted to show that walkers do start to breakdown and deteriorate.
We're sure to be in for more beat-up, dripping and gooey walkers this season. We already saw that in the premier this week.

How smart could a Zombie possibly be nothing more than target practice sheep to slaughter. So long as you are not cornered and within arms length.

Carl's voice being much deeper kept throwing me off.
Great episode, though.

Another thing I noticed. The walkers seem to be far more lively in the daytime than they used to be. They break out into near sprints at points, like in the opening scene when the group piles into the car to leave. Weren't the supposed to be more docile in the day?

Thinking out loud on the possibility of a plot device. Those who have read the comics might now already so don't spoil it for those of us who don't, but I have a feeling something special might occur with the baby. Perhaps they find out it's immune and it becomes a hope for an antidote or inoculation?

Here's my other question. OK, we have determined that the jail might be a safe place due to the built in security. Why not go back to Rick's police station? It should also be secure, Rick secured it when they left. Plus it would be familliar terrirtory.
