This season...is just bad. I take it with the lack of discussion going on that I'm not alone in thinking that. I'm watching until the end, but I'm wishing it would just end.

This is the last season. So...I dunno, be patient? It's almost over. Or just don't watch it if you find it that disappointing.

Up, I hate character stories! Blow SHTUFF UP!
I am enjoying this season so far. Sure there is a lot of melodrama with hot latino Jaime and Quinn and Debra but it's going to lead somewhere. That's the only part that is annoying to me.
How should Debra be after killing her Captain? I think they are handling it well!

I watch this season and keep wondering how Dexter goes down this season. If he goes down or they end it some other way. I wonder how it would be if he's arrested and is marched through the precinct in front of all of his colleagues. And what happens to ****in' Deb. and what happens to Harrison. How Dexter gets arrested. Lots of questions on my mind.

If anyone thinks that this season is good after the laughable final scene of episode 4 and the cringe worthy Masuka's daughter showing up scene please sell me some of whatever you are smoking. If this show had any balls anymore Dexter would have come back to Deb's place after episode 3 to find her lobotomized by Voguel while she was cuffed to her couch. Something better start happening or one of my favorite shows ever is going to go out with a whimper.

Smoking nothing, just enjoy the damn show. If you don't like then don't watch! It really is that simple!

Yeah, let's show some balls and kill off arguably the most interesting character of the series and then have 9 episodes left without her. Yeah, that's good TV!!!!
Give your head a shake. I'm not a huge fan of the show anymore, but killing off Deb at this point in the final season makes zero sense. Zero sense.

I like this season too. The writing is ridiculous, but when you get lines from Matsuka like "You must be majoring... in beautiful" it makes it all better. I think it's also much darker than ever before, not sure what people are expecting - Deb is losing her mind, Dexter has lost his empathy for her and is now all about "fixing" her to accept him despite that meaning she won't be at all the same person, and the creepy doctor is walking around just creeping the crap out of everything.

If it's one thing I've learned after 7 seasons of Dexter, it's not to judge the season after only 4 episodes. I'm confident we'll get a satisfactory ending out of this. And if not, oh well... I'm sure they tried. When Dex was good, it was damn good... and that's good enough for me.

Dexter is going to end up saran wrap to a table with a knife going though his heart when this is all said and done.. This is the only way I see this going down for him. It was another boring episode tonight.. Well at least Dexter killed someone so not all was lost.. I just want this all to end I'm getting bored with the show.. I have to watch it because I watched it since the beginning but it's really getting stale for me.

I liked this episode. I loved the couceling scene at the start. I also like the nanny making Dexter act human.
This season is not about Dexter. We know everything about Dexter. This season is about Deb which is interesting as as much as she has always been a train wreck its always been superficial.

Did anyone else cringe when the Deputy Chief was talking to Quinn about taking it easy on the murdering son or he wouldn't get promoted. Capiche? Ugh.

I agree. The writers will try and make up for their terrible writing over the past few seasons by trying some shock and awe and having Harrison plunge the knife into him. Then the new show...Son of Dexter...will be born. I better add one of these

That was one of the weaker episodes Dexter has aired, but these powerhouse dramas can only go on for so long. I'm not just going to start bashing the show until I see how this ends.
