Bouchard didnt take a single stride from the blueline in until he was clearing the puck out of his own net.
He's a terrible defenceman. Now...pay that man his money!

When did mcdavid start doing the chewing the mouth guard during play thing that Tkachuk does? I don't recall seeing him do this before.

As bad a defenseman as Nurse is, he's just not good at doing the right thing at the right time. Bouchard is worse in some ways because he just doesn't care about defending.
Bouchard loses the puck.
Bouchard starts ahead of Fiala, then inexplicably turns to the middle of the ice and slows down allowing Fiala to get ahead of him on his side.
Bouchard assumes Nurse has got and gives up
None of that is on Nurse.
But pay him his money

Every player seems to do this now. To his credit, McDavid seems to put it back in most of the time when play starts. I'm not sure how they trash talk with it dangling out.
