No call on the blatant high stick on Valimaki, but of course Backlund gets a soft tripping call that looked much more like a dive on the replay. NHL reffing at it's finest, ladies and gentlemen.

The officiating so far - and likely unintentional, has now potentially effected the outcome
of 2 games with their ineptitude.
How can I continue to support this?
The sick part is I will. And they know it.

I don’t care how this season wnds. I’m done with the nhl and their terrible officiating. Rules change based on time and team and situation and crew. Not worth my time or money

They're mutually exclusive things, though. Just because the first line is playing terrible doesn't mean the reffing gets a pass.
