Why do radical muslims bother even watching South Park?
There are shows that offend me, and I just don't bother watching them.
I do watch South Park, but I would be lying if i said that it never once offended me, but I accept that risk when I turn it on. I think the whole point the creators have is that no matter who you are (religous, atheist, conservative, liberal, gay, straight, black, white, jewish... whatever), eventually they will catch you with something that offends you. You can't take it personally.

No kidding, why watch it if your just going to get offended and throw a fit, in this case, kill some people. It is a joke how some people live their lives.
I am going to watch "Super Best Friends" every day for the next week, uncensored just for fun.

Finally watched pt II last night, wow was that painful with all the bleeps. I'm embarassed for Comedy Network. Had I known all those speeches at the end were going to be bleeped out, I wouldn't have even bothered watching it. What a waste of 22 mins.

Why do Catholic priests diddle little boys and girls?
Isn't the most ironic job in the world being a member of a pornography censorship board because you have to view everything you intend to ban in your efforts to protect the public from what you think it can't handle?
The world is a silly place some times.
Like this time.

Not to take it off topic, but I don't get why Catholic priests can't marry. Name another major religion where a person in the same position must remain celibate(or even another sect within Christianity). It's stupid. The guy's still human, he can't just turn off his emotions and desires like a faucet. Allow them a partner they can diddle at home and maybe we won't see so many stories like this.

While I agree with you totally. The concept is that members of the clergy are married to the Church.
/end derailment.

I guess the same reason some boy scout leaders, teachers, hockey coaches, etc do.

In Buddhism, monks are celibate. They are supposed to suppress desires and become sort of asexual.
Many Eastern non-Catholics also expect celibacy from clergy. I think there are some that can and some that can't, but I am not sure how they decide.

That's why Saudi islamists go to London to booze it up. It's legal there but more importantly, not legal in Saudi Arabia so you gotta go somewhere.
Don't you?
Maybe the world would be a safer place if Catholic priests had a place where they could party and be normal before going back to being unnaturally celibate.
In the end, people are human, in all the best and worst ways that implies, including those who think they're better than the rest.
Bottom line . . . . . all you putzes are the same, no matter where you live or the culture that formed you.
I'm feelin' good today!!!!

Ya Buddhists, forgot about them, for sure they have to remain celibate. Still though, most religions don't seem to ask for such a commitment, especially such a mainstream, widespread one like Catholicism. It just seems extremely old fashioned and in need of a fix.
Haha anyway I'm really not trying to derail the thread, just one of those things that perplexes me since I grew up Catholic(but am not a believer anymore).

Well, if you think about it, most of organized religion is "extremely old-fashioned" having been created out of the minds of primitive savages -relatively speaking.
And yet, here we are, centuries or even thousands of years later, thinking thoughts coming out of deserts and jungles of ancient and savage civilizations can offer guideposts today.
Scientology, something more recent, seems to have been created out of the mind of Hubbard as something of a joke just to prove he could do find enough suckers to make it stick.
Radical Islam is a self-defeating organism. What we are learning in the last decade or so is that previously isolated, ancient, long-lived societies perhaps need to experience the theory of radical Islam before deciding going back to the seventh century isn't a great idea after all. Most modern, European or North American industrial societies had already gone through the painful experience of figuring that out.
South Park? Crazy.

Why do Catholic priests have to diddle little boys? Why don't they go after some 18 year old chicks?

I can't believe that CN didn't show any reruns of the new episode. Luckily I watched the earlier airing and didn't rely on my PVR at 1am. I would have been pissed if I missed the episode, even though I thought the episode was kind of lame with all the unneeded censorship.
