The first goal was awful, set the stage for the rest of the game, is the thrid goal the one he was interfered with? Or was that the fourth?

Seems rather weak to blame this entire mess on Kipper giving up a weak goal. Especially 5 minutes into the semi-final of the f'ing Olympics when it is 1-0.
Kipper is responsible for 1. If the rest of the team absolutely quit after that, then that is their fault entirely, not the goaltender's.

Haha CTV keeps panning onto Burke when he has a giant dip in. Awesome!

Agreed. Those types of plays happen. Its a pretty mentally weak team to deflate so badly after one bad goal. The whole team was horrible. Kipper didn't play well but he was hung out to dry from the 1st goal on. Now he has to shoulder the burden.

I didn't think the interference was that bad, and the problem was his rebound which ended with him shuffling around on his ass. To be honest I can't even remember the 4th goal.

"Nabokov sucked" is a direct quote from you. Kipper is playing the exact same way and all we get is your typical 'jesus himself couldn't have stopped those pucks' crap,
It's okay people - you can admit Kipper was awful out there. Who cares? He's not wearing Flames red so why should you? The real issue is whether this has long-lasting effects into the remainder of the NHL season.

What is with the complete lack of respect and civility on the forum these days?
You guys are seriously lucky that the board doesn't just shut down for a while to silence some of the irrational crap that people are posting.

Imagine this place right now if Luongo was in net.
I'd guarantee that there would be a server overload.

Well at the expense of Finland, the Flames are going to get the best bounce back game ever against the Wild.

Kiprusoff is still one of the best, if not the best, goaltenders this year in the NHL. One game in the Olympics does not change that.

I'm perfectly calm sitting here, I just hate when people tell others what to post and not post, as if it's their forum. It's kind of a piss off.

More likely Slovakia gets killed in the bronze medal game.
That said, given that the entire Finnish team never showed up today, they should be retroactively stripped of their win against the Czechs, who should get to face Slovakia in the bronze medal game instead.
