I don't mind them being called by their first names, but it's when Hughson calls him "brother Daniel" that I get annoyed.

I've had a conundrum for years. I was born in Sweden, and am still quite attached, but grew up here in Calgary and am a devout Flames fan. I hate the Sedin's and still think they're a couple of wusses, but when it comes to intl. play, I have to cheer for them. When and if Canada/Sweden meet, I am completely torn in half with who to cheer for. So it's win/win, or lose/lose..

Yeah, you have to be in Canada to get the highlights from CTV. Could see if the IIHF or IOC websites have any highlights online.

I know it's early and only one period but I didn't think the Czechs would be that good in this olympic tournament. The Czechs could be a darkhorse pick this year. Also has anybody else noticed the Kaberle never shoots in TO but when he plays for the Czechs he is extra dangerous, he has a good shot too.

Love the Euro crowd whistles during PP's, in place of boos.
I think for all Euro only games, they should also have the mesh hanging down in the nets, a Skoda sitting in the corner seats, and a clock that counts up instead of down.
