Ah so you're saying I didn't?
Smokies finally beat the Flamez, 2-0 in a defensive affair. Well done Chalms, you've deserved to win more than just the once!

Thanks, about fata-ing time!
My team seem to pick it up for league games, and resting my starter yesterday payed off. With the win, Purins regains his spot on the league-long all-star team.
The Flamez next win would put them in 6th, which would set up a grueling first round matchup with the Smokies.

Your guys' league sounds like more fun than mine.
Ridiculous amount of turnover in teams, aside from some really strong ones.
My team won 11 of the 13 games in August, moving me up to 5th....having a lot more fun now.
Don't be surprised if my team asks you for a friendly match coming up here, have some vacancies in my calendar.

well I lost 4-2 to the Chinooks today Im the good side the Chinooks usually beat teams like 11-0 so im on the right track. However I was in 9th and now reside in 10th booooooo. On a really good side though I did manage to sell my game out. My arena has a capacity of 1050 so I did make some dang fine coin. Still lots of games left for my team to turn it around and make the playoffs.

Yeah that's really impressive to sell out. I think I my max was ~800/950 or so, and like Chalms I'm gonna try to upgrade with my next few cheques. Just curious, did you guys take out loans? I took mine out a few weeks back to upgrade my facilities.
And Chalms I'm pretty sure you can get into 2nd without much trouble. I think we both play the 2nd place team again and I'm pretty sure we both beat him last time. Not many other teams seem to play tactics in our league. Oh and nicely done going with Defensive right after I had, would never have guessed that

Yeah I also took out a $1.2M loan a couple weeks ago to upgrade my facilities, 5 weeks left to pay it off.

Missed opportunity today to catch up on 2nd place in IV.11 for the Smokies, as they come to a 2-2 draw with 5th place HC Wushu.
Even with the defensive tactic selected versus Wushu's offensive, Wushu managed to pot two past Rihards Purins, which is a rare feat. The Smokies were hoping to rest their starter, but a 16 day injury to backup goaltender and league save percentage leader Lubomir Habal forced Purins into action.
This tie snapped the Smokies 11 game win streak, but however are still unbeaten in their last 18 league games. Due to tight funds because of facility upgrades, the Smokies won't be able to hit the market to try and improve their roster, so they will need to stand pat or hope some of their new recruits from the sports academy can shake up the team.
Meanwhile, the Flamez continue to nip at the heels of HC Wushu with a dominating 8-1 win versus 10th place Capital, whom the Smokies play on Monday.

It was 2-1 when I was watching...nice surprise to win like that after being shutout by the Smokies last game!
Next week and a half should help me out as there are no really tough games, as the Flamez look to solidify their playoff chances.

Soccer season just ended, nice little payoff at the end with the 1st and 6th place scorers netting me almost 1mil! Wish I had some better hockey players to get those bonuses...
Flamez sitting comfortably in 6th, which is where I want to finish for the playoffs. Hope Chalms gets into 2nd so we can play in the semis!

Just got back from my vacation in Russia, cool that some of you guys got the pro-mode, and I got a little prize because of that, 3 credits to each of the guys that have made it to pro-mode. If we get enough I'm thinking of setting up a Calgarypuck tourney on PPM, I'll play my B-team so it'll be more even with all of us, and I can set up the tourney and give the credits I got from you guys signing up back to you as your entry fees. Right now I have only 34 credits earned from referrals and the minimum to enter is 10 credits each so for a 8 team tournament (smallest available) I would need 80 credits, or if any of you guys have credits and wouldn't mind signing up with their own credits I might be able to create the tourney now. I'll donate another 50 or 100 to the pot so the winner (or top 2) would get a nice little prize.

Tough game today I am ranked #7 and beat the #3 seed 2-1. The #9 seed and are are only 2 points away from eachother so every point counts. I have some tough games coming up most notibly against the #2 seed whom hasent lost in god knows how long. My goalie is standing on his head as of late he is ranked #2 in sv% and a couple of all star nominations under his belt. Id like to say I have one or two main point getters however I seem to be getting my points quite evenly between lines 1-3 with my 4th chipping in as well a fair amount.
Im hoping I can work my way into the 6th seed so I dont have to play the #1 or #2 seed in the playoffs as those two teams seem to be in a league of their own.

Got a scare today playing on low with my backup vs. a noname team playing on normal! Still managed a 5-4 win, putting me 2 points back of 2nd.
I'll be sad when my pro runs out. Might buy it for playoffs though.

Got a pretty good prospect today; 173 Ovr, 78% AQ and 6/6. Good enough to start on my 3rd line, hopefully one day moving up to 1-2nd liner!

I just posted one of my original players and Captain in my first season Brad Clark on the market. He will be selling on wednesday, here's his link if anyone wants to take a look at him, he would be a decent asset for a playoff run and probably could help in your next season as well.
