Just talk to her for a while, and then there is an opportunity to kiss her.
Spoiler You also should have given her the black grimoire of her mother and then helped her deal with her mother if you want the storyline to continue with her End spoiler.

Note that you can only progress it "all the way" when at camp.

Oh, I forgot about camp. I already kissed her, I'll get it on after I finish helping the dwarfs.

I'm playing the game wrong obviously, everything I do makes Morrigan dislike me it seems.

*not really spoilers but meta-game information so don't read if you don't like*
She's ruthlessly pragmatic so if you're the kind of hero that saves kittens and smiles at the antics of young children, she'll disapprove. Talk to her in camp and choose the options that are rather heartless and cold, and you'll get her approval up. There is also a gift that will get you massive approval, as well as other gifts of the darker sort which she prefers. Finally, she has mother issues and if you explore her past in dialogue (always in CAMP! she doesn't like to talk in public) you will discover an obvious way to get on her good side.

The deal is that they are pretty well useless. They *sound* like they'd be great with a fast dagger rogue, but as you've noticed, they almost never go off. I loaded up a weapon with three different ones, and the paralyze rate never got up over maybe 1/100, which is pointless considering you could put 3 +5 damage runes on instead and have they work 100/100 times.

Ask about her mother and be a dick to her. Those are my two suggestions. Also, if you piss off your other party members, she'll approve.

I take this back. Reaver doesn't add a great deal to this. The first skill - Devour - is very cool and useful but the damage increase from Blood Frenzy isn't as high as I thought. The DW Berserker is still a killing machine though.
Gonna try an arcane warrior next time. Looks pretty cool.

Just got the Berserker specialization. Hopefully I can get some of the skills soon (I need to level). It sounds like I'm gonna be a badass.
Also, I think the most useful person in your group is Morrigan. Even though she has low health, she almost never dies for me. Shale is pretty sweet too.

Skip "Final Blow" or whatever the last berserker skill is. The rest are great.

Shale is a rock star.
*Ability Spoiler*
He has an ability set (Stone Heart set) that draws enemies to him rather than the weaker party members, and since he's almost indestructible he can take a beating for a long time. I just fought the high dragon and Shale's piss off ability even worked on an enemy of that caliber.
*Ability Spoiler*
I use a mage character (who does the majority of the party damage) and Wynn (who's basically Shale's personal healer) and that's basically all the party I need. I throw in Leilana (sp?) to open chests, but I don't really need the extra damage at this point. Plus, Shale's gotta be hands down the best NPC dialogue in the game.

I really wish the party limit was five instead of four. I know it's possible to play without an ideal group, but you really want a tank, a healer, a mage (for crowd control and AoE damage), and a rogue (for opening all the chests you find).
Since my character was a rogue, my party for every section of the game except parts where you had to include a specific member was Shale, Wynne, and Morrigan. I sometimes used Alistair as my tank instead of Shale just to mix it up, but there wasn't really any alternative to Wynne and Morrigan. If I could have brought along a fifth party member, I would have rotated in the rest of the cast to experience more of their stories, banter with other characters, and special abilities.
Also, your dog should be a permanent pet that follows the player everywhere, not a party member you have to choose over someone else.

I didn't find it all that difficult to make Wynne function just fine as an offensive mage or Morrigan function as a healer.
I also completed all the NPC questlines without hardly ever changing my party. Just keep chatting them up in camp, giving gifts, and the game will make it pretty obvious when you need one of them in your party to complete their quest.

Which do people use as a healer? The mages? I find myself having to do certain fights like 8 times because we all die so quickly. Morrigan is pretty offensive as of now. What skills should I put into a mage to make them a healer?

I didn't use a healer too much, but I made sure to have plenty of crowd control skills/spells in my party. I just took Shale for Stone Aura and trained someone up in herbalism to make potions.
To use a mage as a healer you pretty much need Spirit Healer as a spec - Group Heal is pretty good. Heal is decent as it recharges pretty quick, but I found it to be pretty weak later on.

Yeah I was dying a lot and fast, then I changed the tactics for the mage or mages towards crowd control and that made a pretty big difference.

Man this game gets annoying. All these dwarfs do is stun me, over and over and over. I can't do anything ever because I am ALWAYS stunned. Man alive.

I finished it playing with two warriors (myself and alternating between Allistair & Shale as a tank), and Morrigan (cc/damage) & Wynne (cc/healer).
Having 2x Forcefield, Crushing Prison and Walking Nightmare is almost unfair. Worst case scenario Allistair or Shale actually have to tank something, and I'd just go around destroying everything.
Going to be interesting on the next playthrough (once I get around to it)... when my goal is to essentially not use any of those characters.... Well maybe Morrigan.

I had to look Wynne up as I didn't know who that was. Apparently I killed her, so much for that!
